The community, encouragement and support is incredible!
The community. The strength and pride I feel after my work out. ALL the staff
It's a fun workout, and the instructors are amazing.
I love our instructors, and I love the variety of formats.
Love the studio, teachers, the variety of all the workouts, really everything! It's the best and my favorite workout
Pure barre has helped my body and mental well being for the past few years! I love seeing the happy faces of the instructors and fellow barre members, and always enjoy the work out! The new routines keep things fresh and challenging every time.
Pure Barre is a great workout and has helped build my strength and endurance. All their workouts are wonderful - Classic, Align, Empower, Define, and Focus. I'm not a fan of Reform, but I that's me. It's the best full-body workout I've ever had.
Amazing workout quality and variety, plus kind, helpful and excellent instructors!
It's a great workout in a fun environment with great music.
The quality of the workout.
Quality of fitness, variety, convenient times and location.
A really wonderful, supportive, and inspiring community!
Community & the great exercise / workout options
Entire staff is amazing!!!! Front desk and instructors. Great customer service, pleasant always and classes are challenging but fun!!!
I love the energy the instructors bring to every class. It's a welcoming and inspiring environment. The studio is also very clean. Shout out to instructor Mellissa M for her genuine enthusiasm and support. Several times I felt like quitting but her cheerful manner and encouragement keeps me going. It's obvious that the instructors love what they do.
Really great workouts
The variety mostly, and good instrucotrs.
The workouts are fun, and the instructors are so encouraging!
I love that Pure Barre is a workout where consistency really pays off. The classes are challenging without being high impact, and I continue to discover new ways to improve my form, strength, and endurance. Every class pushes me just enough that I leave feeling accomplished. The instructors make a huge difference. They're encouraging, attentive, and genuinely care about helping everyone get the most out of each class. I always leave class feeling stronger, more energized, and proud of what I accomplished. It's become an important part of my weekly routine, and I genuinely look forward to every class. It's also a very supportive community that makes fitness enjoyable, and that's something that's hard to find. It's a lot of fun to celebrate fitness milestones and accomplishments. Thanks for all you do to create a community!
Friendly and welcoming staff, both front desk and teachers remember you by name. They create a space where you walk in and forget the stress and troubles of your day. Studio is clean, organized and flows well. Workout classes are always challenging, consistent yet varies to keep it fresh. I've been doing Purebarre consistently for over 5 years and still find the workouts to be the most efficient fitness and wellness routine. Plus I've made great friends in this community.
Location is close to my home which makes getting there easy. The instructors are solid and they teach a good core workout with a variety of classes. The membership allows you to go to a bvariety of their studios in Southwest Portland. My only concern is that many of my favorite instructors have left with a recent change inownership.
They are professional friendly and class are amazing ð
Pure Barre is the best full-body workout I've ever done. Plus, they cardio focused and weight focused classes, which just add to your workout. The Beaverton studio is new for me because Hillsboro (Tanesborne) closed, but it is a great studio and much easier to get to from where I live. It would be especially nice if they would add a morning Align class (9:30); that's the only thing it's missing!!
Keep with the same schedule. Many of the classes switch around either instructor or class type.
Personally I feel it's a bit expensive for a 50 minute class
-Saturdays need another morning option -Saturdays need define option -There needs to be atleast 15 mins between classes, or even 20 mins - 10 mins is NOT enough time and I feel bad for teachers who literally have no time to help anyone with questions, change equipment, students to wipe down while new students try to come in on time. It also has changed the culture at pure barre which used to be a community and now it's just a turnover class. -don't put all engage classes at the same time at all studios (ie Saturdays at 11am at beav, Sherwood AND lake o). There should only be one engage class at one time so people who pay into pure barre have some option at all times to go to a different studio -changing the class schedule each month is incredibly annoying for someone who's routine oriented.
The instructors are very helpful. I feel like everyone is doing whatever they can, and not judge anyone, so that feels good.
The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable
I love our instructors, the community, and the class format options!
Let me begin by saying that the workout itself is excellent. I truly enjoy the variety of formats and how well they complement one another. Unfortunately, over the past several months, many of the recognizable instructors have left, and the schedule has become quite unpredictable. Many of the newer instructors appear to be relatively new to Pure Barre, which has, at least in the short term, impacted the overall quality of instruction. Additionally, most people value routine, and having a reliable schedule, with consistent class formats offered at the same times, is important. Recently, both the formats and instructors seem to shift from month to month. Compounding this issue, the schedule is often not released until just a few days before the start of the new month. As a result, the culture and social aspect of the studio have been diminished. Groups that have worked out together consistently for years are now split across multiple classes, as they have had to adjust to new times and formats that better fit their needs and preferences. The scheduling of classes only 10 minutes apart has also created challenges. Transitions between classes feel rushed and chaotic, leaving little time to connect with others before or after sessions. This has also contributed to increased congestion in the parking lot. Now that class times are aligned with the neighboring YogaSix studio and remain closely staggered, the experience of arriving at and leaving the studio feels more stressful, with large numbers of people moving in and out at the same time. I understand that new ownership often brings changes; however, there appears to be a disconnect between the culture and needs of the local studio community and the local and remote leadership responsible for shaping the overall experience and maintaining the quality of the workouts.
The fun music, high energy when you need it, mellow energy when you need it, a good work out that is as challenging as you make it. The instructors are always encouraging, help with technique, and the community is top notch.
Not the same with new owners who never come see studio. Best teacher let go. I drove 15 minutes out of my way to take her class! Schedules not updated for classes next week. Considering quitting but I'm trying to give it a chance. Do love new to our studio teacher Myrtle as she has same energy I love and she gives me hope that things will pick up and I'm praying another class will be added before 12.
The community and the work outs
The variety of classes. Thank you for bringing reform back.
I appreciate how everyone is very supportive and enjoy the coaches and reception staff. Thanks guys ð
There is a wonderful sense of community and comradery, plus the workouts are both challenging and fun. They have fun fitness challenges that make it really easy to stick to your fitness goals, plus celebrate your achievements as you reach your number of classes milestones.
I love pure barre but the current studios are too far from where I live
I came for the workout and stayed for the community!
I liked the schedule when I signed up years ago, but over the last year or so changes to schedule happening seemingly without getting feedback from members has changed my satisfaction. I know there are a lot of people to please and someone will always be unhappy so I'm sure it is hard. A lot of us plan our days/evenings around workout class times and it is upsetting when it changes. I have an unlimited membership and used to be able to make it 4 or 5 days a week. Now I am about 2-3. Some of the new hire teachers have been lackluster, but with the recent closure of Hillsboro, some more experienced teachers have been over teaching and I like that but I feel bad for the Hillsboro people.
Love all of it. The teachers, the studio, the workouts and the variety of them!
I've been doing Pure Barre for almost 6 years now, and it's a great full-body workout all the time. It's helped me lose some weight and made me stronger, plus given me stamina!
I love the consistency of the workout, the music and most staff. While change is never easy, the transition to the new leadership has been smooth and easy. I do wish that there was less turnover of front desk staff as no one ever seems to know my name.. and I've been a client for many years. I also have found it disappointing that my milestone classes were barely recognized or celebrated. I'll chalk this up to the ownership change (milestone was last summer), and hope that my next milestone will be celebrated like the others I see occurring now.
How friendly the staff is, how clean the studios are & the variety of classes.
The instructions are great. Clean place and great location in lake Oswego
The variety of classes, the quality of the instructors, the clean studio and feeling of community.
The coaching, the workouts, and the environment.
The community
I like the consistency of the workouts - that all the formats follow a professional, well-thought-out corporate choreography that the instructors must follow. So every class I take is worth my time and effort because Pure Barre has taken the time and effort in providing a professional workout plan and has provided the necessary training for its teachers.
The instructors are very helpful. And, all the staff are super nice.
The location is close to home. Variety of classes and times. Enjoy the workouts and seeing changes.
