The community at PBSS is wonderful and I love the workout.

Good teachers Good vibes Exercise

It's challenging, fun, effective!

I generally like my studio but it is very small compared to others I have been at, sometimes it is too crowded with little air and people have serious body odor. Most of the instructors are great but sometimes I feel like others pressure me to workout at a level my body physically can't, for example when they say go lower and come over to say go lower that is disheartening…they should just give generally encouragement to the class vs trying to individually tell people what to do… people will self correct or adjust when they can or feel like it

Everything! The exercises, variety, effectiveness, my teachers, the music.

I dont have the unlimited membership and sometimes its a challenge getting the class of choice. Especially for working people with kids. Love to try define but the times that work for me are always booked. But the instructors are amazing they work with you without judgment. Love coming here for my workouts

An amazing work out with an amazing community of people!

Overall, I love the studio and have had a great experience, which is why I've remained a member all these years. One thing I'd love to see improve is more consistency with greeting members when they come in. Most days I'm greeted very warmly, which I really appreciate. I completely understand that the barretenders and teachers are sometimes busy or having conversations and can't always greet everyone right away. However, there have been times in the last few months when I've walked in and teachers or barretenders have made eye contact and not said hello, but then greeted people who came in soon after me. That is not the norm, so when it happens, it feels unwelcoming and, to be honest, rude. Just wanted to share since it's happened a few times. Thanks!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PURE BARRE ! The Teachers are so encouraging and supportive during the entire class experience! The community is engaging and super sweet and there's always an event for socializing! The Owner Carmel is such a SWEETHEART 🥹💞. I definitely recommend Pure Barre to anyone who wants to try low impact workouts with major results ! -Yvonne J.

I love the community and how strong I feel after class!

the workouts are challening and always changing

I've been doing Pure Barre for about 6 years and I love it! The variety of the classes and different times are great and helps to fit into my schedule. All the instructors are friendly and welcoming! I always come back for a class in a good mood and feeling energized!

Variety of classes that strengthens core and overall body as well as enhances balance and flexibility.

Pure Barre is great because it's a low-impact workout that strengthens, tones, and improves posture while being fun and challenging.

Everyone is so friendly and supportive no matter the fitness level you start of with.

Great variety of teaching styles! Warm and welcome environment

Amazing! Been loving the workouts.

I love the community! Everyone knows your name and encourages you!

Class structure Easy sign up on app. Instructors great

The classes are always challenging but you feel amazing afterward! The instructors are very encouraging and I always feel welcome in the studio. I also love the little themes and after class coffee and treats that are offered periodically.

I am eternally grateful for Pure Barre. A couple of years ago, I injured my back and developed severe leg numbness that led me to seek chiropractic care. Thankfully, I found an incredible chiropractor who not only helped my body heal and become stronger, but also recommended that I pair my physical therapy with Pure Barre classes. I'm so glad I took his advice!! Nearly two years later, I feel stronger and more stable through my back, core, and legs, and the pain that first brought me here is now almost nonexistent. The combination of chiropractic care and Pure Barre has truly given me the freedom to move with confidence again, and I couldn't be more grateful! Thank you for providing this space and for having teachers that inspire me to keep showing up!

The instructors are great. The classes are well formulated. But Pure Barre is not as diverse as it should be especially in Howard County. I am an Asian Indian and none of my friends know about this place. Pure Barre should advertise more in community events to get more clientelle from all different cultures. Just my 2 cents

The workout is great for the whole body. It is low impact while building muscle. I feel stronger than ever. I love the pure barre community!

I have been taking Pure Barre classes at Pure Barre Columbia, Md. for over ten years. I find it to be a highly effective whole body exercise program with the various class formats they provide. Additionally, the supportive community at the studio makes it a joy to come to class. Finally, the owner, Carmel and her staff are dedicated, professional, and amazing instructors.

The work out, the community and the Columbia Maryland studio's terrific owner who makes it special fun and keeps us coming!

The instructors are wonderful and I love the space. Everyone is amazing. Workouts are fantastic.

The community is more than just a place, it's an experience. For me, it's my personal version of "Cheers," where everyone truly knows your name and more importantly, makes you feel like you belong the moment you walk in. What sets this community apart is its balance of purpose and connection. It's not just a social space; it's an environment that encourages growth, self-improvement, and showing up as your best self. Whether you come in seeking motivation, support, or simply a reset from the outside world, you leave feeling better than you arrived. If I had to sum it up, I'd say it feels like an adult sorority in the best possible way: empowering, supportive, and rooted in camaraderie. Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing. Except more recognition for the 5:20am morning crew and their dedication!🤪

I love the inclusivity, concise training , the teachers /staff and the community!

Love the exercise. Love the energy. Love my teachers

The teachers and front desk staff are friendly. The teachers are very positive and provide good feedback. They are very knowledgeable on various things and can help with alternate positions to still be able to get results.

Pure Barre is a low-impact, amazing workout that leaves you feeling strong and energized!!!!

I love the options of different classes as well as times offered. The staff is friendly and very supportive. I am only sorry that I didn't start earlier. Loving my transformation so far…give it a try.

different classes, the teachers

I love Pure Barre because it challenges me without feeling harsh on my body. The classes are low-impact but still intense in the best way, and I always leave feeling stronger, more energized, and more confident. I also love the positive atmosphere, motivating instructors, and how every class helps improve my posture, balance, and overall tone. It's one of the few workouts that makes me feel both calm and accomplished afterward.

It's a total transformation and proof that a toned core aligns the body while supporting spine and joints.

I like how even after a year, the classes are still challenging. Yes, I'm getting stronger, but the classes aren't getting easier, I'm just able to do more in them. Plus, feeling stronger and having my back and leg pain dissipate, keeps me motivated and knowing that the movements we do in class are working. And sure, feeling better is always a great motivator, but it's really the teachers and atmosphere that keep me coming back. Even when I think I have nothing left in the tank, they always find a way to keep me going. They really do make the classes enjoyable, even during the really challenging exercises. I also can't say enough kind things about the smiling faces I see at the front desk. The ladies who work the front set the tone and they do a fabulous job. No matter if I'm coming into class or leaving from one, they're always kind and helpful. I'm very grateful that this place is part of my wellness journey.

I absolutely love the community! From the owner to the instructors to other members, Pure Barre is a welcoming, supportive, and friendly environment. I look forward to each and every class, and all the challenges too!

I love the community feel. I love the different types of classes offered. So excited reform is back. I hope it can be added into the 630 am schedule. Maybe Monday mornings? Or rotated with align on Monday at 630? Also, is it possible to get more 12 lb weights? They run out quickly in define. Thanks!

The classes and instructors are great . I do feel that the place has to become more diverse.

More variety of classes across peak days/times. Waitlist management is unrealistic, especially when taken off of a waitlist day of class. Also I feel like the attention to in class form correction has fallen off and causes huge impact on value of experience. I can got anywhere for movement, only Pure Barre made that movement intentional. That has been missing and I'm having a hard time justifying the investment without it

Challenging classes and friendly instructors. Great workout!

Love everything about this place. Seriously you all are the best and I'm extremely appreciative that I found this studio. Thank you for everything you do!

I love the workout but I also love the supportive community!
