Love this studio! My only feedback would be to add more options for reform during the week in the evenings.
I absolutely love Pure Barre Falls Church! What started as another way to exercise has become something I genuinely look forward to. The workouts are challenging in the best possible way. I love the variety of classes, especially Define and Reform, and how each one pushes me differently. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and really know how to challenge you. Just when I think I'm getting stronger, they find another muscle I apparently haven't been using! ð What I love most about Pure Barre is how it makes me feel. Even on days when I'm exhausted and questioning why I signed up for class, I always leave feeling accomplished, energized, and proud of myself. It's become more than just a workout for me. I'm so glad I found Pure Barre and this location. It's one of the best things I've done for myself, and I genuinely enjoy coming backâeven when my muscles disagree!
The predictability of a solid workout that builds my muscle strength throughout my body, helping with my distance running and long-term mobility, flexibility and agility. The management and instructors are well-trained, always pleasant and helpful. Love PB Clarendon!
I have really enjoyed the positive and encouraging environment that the ladies at Pure Barre Pentagon City have set up here. I am not a workout person, much less a workout class person, but I find myself wanting to go to my scheduled Pure Barre classes to see the instructors and keep getting stronger.
The vibes, the routines and the motivation
The instructors are fantastic and they're always happy to help me with modifications when I need them. The atmosphere at the studio is friendly and supportive as well.
I love the classes, the instructors, the music, and knowing that it is 50 minutes to focus just on myself!
Everything!
I am very discouraged by the selection of classes and the inadequate bathroom facilities at the studio. The schedule is heavily weighted to classes I do not enjoy and so I have trouble finding classes that work for me. In a typical week, there are three times as many define classes as empower and no afternoon empower classes. It doesn't appear to be an instructor issue; there are many instructors able to teach empower (and some who would prefer to do so if given the choice). Morning empower classes are a great addition (there are now four empower classes weekly, instead of just one or two) but with no shower facilities at the studio and only one bathroom, these early classes are only helpful if I do not have to go to work immediately after class. After nine years of very regular pure barre attendance and years of lifestyle membership, I am considering ending my pure barre association. I appreciate the community and will miss so many women that I've met. But I need something that fits with my schedule and preferences. Thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts.
Sense of community has decreased. Milestones are not as important or celebrated as before. Instructors complain openly about low pay. Mean girl behavior by some of the barretenders and instructors when a complaint is made. Doors are locked and waiting clients are left in the rain even if a barretender ia inside. Retail is beyond disappointing
Class times work well for my schedule and the teachers are all encouraging and enthusiastic!
Locations don't offer amenities like showers or locker rooms - which doesn't fit the price of a membership. Playlists aren't great and the rug / aesthetic is rough.
The folks at Pure Barre FC are very accommodating and accepting of my needs. It is always a joy to walk in to the studio and feel welcome. The staff always have on a smiling face!
Love this place! The instructors are all so nice. The workout always leaves me shaking in the best way. They offer modifications if you have an injury or weakness. The community of people who workout there is very inclusive.
The best place ever
It's my happy place! No matter what season of my life I am navigating, I can count on Pure Barre class to get me grounded and inspired. Thank you gor being in my neighborhood ð
Attention to all participants and pushing them to keep going or add another level
Variety of times to take classes and great instructors.
It's a great workoutâin 50 minutes all major muscle groups are worked. It's low impact and suitable for all degrees of fitness.
Instruction varies unevenly between teachers, which makes me slightly hesitant to recommend it universally.
I love the targeted workouts, the talented coaches, and the welcoming atmosphere.
More afternoon class times and more fans in the studio
The workouts are great and I like the variety across the 5 types
I love that I can trust a full, balanced workout every time. I especially love having Define for weight bearing exercising!
I love the teachers and the staff - everyone is friendly and welcoming!! Their love for Pure Barre shows in their support and the encouragement to go lower or raise higher or hold longer. The community built around them is also amazing. After nearly 4 years, I am stronger, more flexible, and happier than I have ever been!
It's a great workout & the team is amazing! Knowledgeable and nice!
The community is welcoming, encouraging and supportive. I am sticking to a workout routine for the first time in my adult life and Pure Barre has changed the way I think about fitness!
It's been my escape after long work days! The staff is great and I've really enjoyed trying all the different class formats. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a new way to integrate exercise into your daily routines.
Energetic teachers, most of them are really professional and great. My back pain is getting much better because of strength of core. Many and various kinds and levels of classed are found, easy to book for great app and there is no issue to make schedule. I have definitely recommended pure barre and falls church studio.
Community, the classes, teachers and experience.
I like the workouts - especially the variety of class formats offered. I also love the sense of community and comradery at this studio.
I love the format of Classic and Align. I love how easily we can modify the exercises and how helpful the instructors are to suggest modifications and oversee our form. I love when the schedule gives us a Classic or an Align every weekday morning at or before 7:30 am.
More empower at night and later classes on Friday night.
Supportive community and teachers. Workouts help with balance and endurance.
I love the fact that you can get a fantastic workout in under an hour and the times of offerings give you a lot of choice!
I like the friendly folks, students and teachers alike, and the fact that instructors will support students who modify the positions to fit their bodies. I also like the variety of classes.
I'd love if Define was offered on a M, W, or Fri to offer more availability with scheduling. Lifting heavy weights is a value of mine, and I would love to be be able to take that class once a week and can't on Tuesdays/Saturdays because of work and travel. The workout itself puts a lot on the calves, wrists, hips and knees so it's not a workout I would recommend to people that struggle in those areas. I've had quite a few barre injuries in those areas myself. I do like the workout and the studio and instructors, I would just prefer to do Define as part of my weekly routine to lift heavier weights and put less body weight on smaller joints.
I love so much about Pure Barre! The classes are challenging and consistent, and the instructors are engaging and helpful. I also appreciate that each class begins on time. I have met so many wonderful people through Pure Barre. It continues to be my go-to workout after many years.
Love the different formats, the teachers and the community feel.
I love the challenging workouts and expert and kind instructors. I also love that PBFC is a welcoming and non-competitive place.
I am an original member of Pure Barre from the very first week that the studio opened, so I've seen many changes in managers & teachers This current group, with Elena as manager, is strong, enthusiastic, supportive & encouraging One lack, which has been the case so often, retail continues to be lacking
I love the adaptability of it. Anyone can take class, it doesn't matter how flexible you are or how strong you are because every move has its own level of difficulty.
Great classes and teachers
Keep the studio clean, well vaccuumed each day.
The exercises are intense but not hard on the joints
The community. The people are wonderful both members and instructors a like. Everyone is truly kind and accepting. I also noticed instructors supporting other instructors. Class timing is reliable and always on time. There are lots of classes to fit any busy schedules. Pure Barre also changes their choreography so it's good for people with ADHD like meâ¦lol! I have been taking Pure Barre with CycleBar for a combination of strength and cardio and it's exactly the combo I need to meet my goals.
The class schedule, on some days, is now almost completely Define and, overall, is heavily weighted towards Classic and Define which outnumber other offerings by three to five-fold. If those are the core offerings, I would not recommend PB because I think there is a real deficit of aerobic classes i.e., Empower.
The teachers and staff are always so welcoming!
Love the workout and the instructors!! The only thing I wish for is that this studio had more variety of class times
I love the exercise and the community
