Pool and workout area. Everything is good

It is the absolute best facility in the whole Columbus area. Very clean! We enjoyed the pool. Lifeguards and staff were friendly and I was amazed at how nice the locker rooms were. We can't wait to come back

The gym equipments are really old and limited. Also not well maintained.

Leisure pool is often closed due to chemical issues. Spent one morning calling phone number to find out if it was open before taking my two 9 year old granddaughters but phone kept getting transferred to the vice presidents office. Finally drove there to find out the leisure pool was indeed closed due to chemical issues. I was told by one lifeguard that they could use the first lane in the lap pool at the shallow end. As they started to get in was told by a different lifeguard that they needed to wear life jackets. As we went to get lifejackets the lifeguard said that an adult would have to go in with them and also have to wear a life jacket. So we left which I felt that was what he was trying to get us to do. I reaize if someone has an accident in the pool that it must be shocked but at Delaware Y it happens so frequently that I think the lifeguards should tell the offenders that they need to stay out. It ruins it for everyone else for hours at a time and sometimes several days a week.

The staff is great and the equipment is well maintained. The only issue is I feel that the hot tub is always broken in some capacity.

It is an expensive membership for most people. It would be nice if membership fees weren't quite so costly.

Beginners Yoga was cancelled with no notice without a replacement course offered

I go to the Hilliard Ray Patch branch of the Y in Franklin County. I have never even heard of the Delaware on; why should I recommend it to anyone?

The workers are very friendly. The front desk is always helpful. The workout floor is crowded and hot. The free weight area gets especially hard to use because there is little room to use them. During COVID, we cancelled our membership and now have it again. We’ve ever only been able to use the slide once when coming to swim. Posted hours for open slide time would be wonderful! I’m not sure why it’s never open. It’s always said to be a staffing issue but it feels like it is intentionally understaffed. Even 1 day a week with it open would be nice.

The indoor swimming pool area hours aren’t good for our schedule.

Ladies bathroom is allowed to run out of paper towels, basketball floors need mopped after weekend activities, sticky drinks spill and Monday Classes shoes can Feel it. I took a point off for lack of regular scheduled CLEANING OF FLOOR and Wall Fans. Recently fans were cleaned at request. I invite neighbors often as classes are wonderful and people very friendly. Front desk especially helpful and smiles.

Locker rooms are clean and well maintained. A few pieces of equipment uUpstairs need some TLC. Usually not very busy weekday mornings to noon.

Indoor pool is frustrating. Water slide is never on. And u have to ask every time to get the water to turn on.

The staff at the Delaware YMCA are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel welcome there.

The environment as a whole, family friendly.

It's more like a clean and cheerful community center rather than a sweaty and musty gym. The facilities are well maintained by staffers who care. They offer a broad range of programming, something for everyone at any fitness level. Plus I enjoy having access to the 360 app which provides even more classes in all sorts of areas such as exercise, arts, and nutrition.

The Y has anything needed to improve your physical and mental health. I’ve even made new friends. I highly recommend joining us at the Y.

The water slide was not on !

I love the Grit classes and Kirin’s class. There’s so much camaraderie and we all support each other in and out of the gym. Also, the Y is always clean and has provided us with updated, modern, equipment in our group classes. Of course, the cost is affordable and amazing for everything you offer.

The group fitness program and the fact that u can leave ur kids somewhere safe with caring n good staff has given me the opportunity as a mom to work on on my fitness journey so thanks.

Too many times when I have come to use the pool, it has been closed or out of service for days at a time.

Not enough beginner classes. When working people can do them. It is very hard to even get in to the classes you do offer without being glued to your phone to get signed in.

My last visit at this location was very disappointing, cause the staff was so rude to my daughter when she went to ask for information she was so scared when she came back she told he was so rude towards her, and when I went back to confront Steve about the situation, he was also rude to me and asked me to leave because he did not want me to ask him why he was rude to my daughter asked me to leave so I left and when I ask him for his name, he would’ve not given it to me until he so one of his coworkers approaching back to the desk. I’ve never had this experience before I’ve come to Delaware location so many times and everyone at the front desk are friendly but this time Steve was the rudest. I will not even give me a chance to speak with him,

The Delaware YMCA is very clean and the staff are very nice and helpful.
