We should also not paid hire membership when we hardly use it during the whole month or year. Especially low income families. Also should add new programs and others health treatment rooms.

The gym is clean and not overcrowded. There is a diverse client base.

I’m grateful for the Lynn Demakes YMCA, it gets me out of the house almost every day (at least 3/4 x a week). It is always so clean, the parking is excellent and the staff it so friendly and kind. I particularly would like to shout out Lara, her classes are so good and her personality is very motivating. Thanks to all!! Keep up the good work everyone! #gratefulforDemakasYMCA

YMCA in Lynn is my favorite place. And I say this after I have visited other YMCAs in the area. The place is clean and feels like a big family. There is almost every machine needed to work out. My only feedback is the hot sauna: it gets dirty a lot and gets cleaned every Tuesday. In addition it’s very often full of mostly men which makes it hard for women to use it or feel comfortable using it. The old Y has a separate sauna for women and it was so much better.
People at the front desk are very friendly and welcome guests with smiles and greetings. Every question is answered. I have forgotten things at the working out machines a few times and found them back- people return them to the front desk, which isn’t been the case at other Ys including the one in marblehead where I live. I love this place. I only hope the sauna issue is resolved.

I wish that the sidewalk across the street (on the bend from the entrance) where people park would be cleaned up. It is filled with weeds and trash. Every time I park there, I see constant trash. It's not a good look, and I do not think it is a heavy lift or ask of the landscapers to clean that area up.

Friendly staff and upkrpy

The staff was very friendly. My 8-year old enjoyed going to the camp every day. There were a lot of sports activities, swimming, and games. I liked the fact that breakfast and lunch were provided every day, and I didn't have a headache what to put in a lunch box. I am recommending the camp to all the parents.

We still have problem with locker no one want to solved it they some people they own locker when we go there we don’t find any ampty one also some stuff need training

The spot is lovely and has everything you need! However the amount of teenagers sitting around in large groups not actually working out nor using the utilities is a major factor that makes it unappealing for a lot of guests

The only problem was it was too loud for him, especially when they were at the gym

My wife and I love the Y and use it often. Great people staffing it, great equipment. Always clean. And, the price works for us.
