Fabulous class to help improve strength and balance. All the instructors were fantastic.
Great activity to keep older folks healthier. Most instructors are understanding of our health issues which hinder our exercise capability.

This class was very welcoming. No matter what your ability level is you were offered alternate exercises if it was too difficult for you. Kelly also informed us as to the purpose of each exercise and what benefits it offered which was greatly appreciated. She also involved us in games that challenged our minds while we exercised our bodies. She kept us engaged. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend this class! Lastly, I have gained strength, confidence and increased my stability.
Engaged well trained instructors
The first year was fine, then the second year issue appeared. Lack of consistent instructors, by the third year now lack of equipment (ten and twelve pound weights gone or down to three. It appears some instructors are burned out. The ones who do fill in are not trained in Enhance Fitness, but some other discipline, Yoga or Silver sneakers or something else. Consistence is gone, it like a box of chocolate "you never know what your going to get". After two years, the Y management has had ample time to hire people and staff up. We have 10-15 people who are now on our 3rd year in Enhanced Fitness and have recommended to many other people judging from the current enrollment. If you have any other questions please feel free to talk to me. I am there every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (11:30 to 12:30).
It works if you attend and practice at home.
The Enhance Fitness program is perfect for our various fitness levels and the instructors remind us to exercise at our abilities and to drink water. The instructors all play great music! We are marking lasting friendships with our classmates and we really enjoy the camaraderie!
I like all of the different types of exercises that we are doing: Cardio, weights, balance and stretching.
