Didn’t get the haircut I asked for, left it too long. Was charged for hair wash shampoo and didn’t receive that service. Overall, not a good visit.

The service and personality of the staff. They're very funny and unapologetically straight forward. It's nice finding a barber who you can actually connect with. It may sound off but realistically, I think anyone who has a barber has a specific shop or barber they go to and I'd highly recommend this barber shop. Great spirit and great energy. Very much appreciated.

The barber asked if I’d like to have my eyebrows trimmed, then proceeded to cut them extremely unevenly and even shaved a line in the top of my left brow

Katie listened to what my teenager wanted and was able to execute. She explained how she was styling his hair so he could replicate at home. He'd been to a couple different barbershops, and this one has been the best. Katie was also engaging with my 6 year old. Both had a great experience.

We recently moved to the area, and I was looking for a good barber for both myself and my 9‑year‑old son. I found this barbershop on Google Maps, saw the great reviews, and decided to book an appointment through their website. I chose my barber randomly — or maybe because his name was also Michael, like my son's! I'm so glad I did. We both absolutely enjoyed the experience. We had a great conversation with Michael and April, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Michael was very gentle and attentive with my son, always talking to him directly and making sure he felt comfortable. The haircuts turned out exactly how we wanted — clean, professional, and just right. Michael took the time to make sure every detail was perfect.

Michael was a great stylist…receptionist was very helpful. I use Floyd's styling paste…over all I like the vibe at Floyd's. Although, while I like the convenience of the location, I prefer some of the locations I've been to where they are in older buildings like reused gas stations, etc

I'm a Longtime Floyd's customer in Florida before moving to NC so I feel very familiar with the quality it usually provides. My son and I both had appointments on Tuesday and this was probably the only bad experience we've had at a Floyd's in the 8+ years that we've been going to multiple Floyd's shops. Long story short, I didn't feel like the stylist had as much experience or attention to detail as other Floyd's stylists we've sat with before and we both were disappointed in our cuts. Both were uneven and a little sloppy, my sons more so than mine. I had to cut a few spots from my hair when I got home that were very uneven. We also have another appointment booked for my son this Saturday to get his fixed with Teri at the Steele creek location who I know does a fantastic job. I Just didn't feel like the cuts we got were worth $75 total between the 2 of us. I know it's a brand new location and still going thru some opening pains, so I'd definitely come back to this Floyd's since it's the closest one to my house, but I doubt I'd book with that stylist again. I probably could have spoken up while we were there but I didn't have the confidence in the stylist that they'd be able to fix it and there was no one else at all in the shop. The person at the front desk left halfway thru my cut and the person who was originally supposed to cut my Son's hair didn't arrive until we were cashing out.
