I recently moved to the League City area in April, after living in Dallas for 10 years, and one of the things I was genuinely excited to find here was a Floyd’s 99 Barbershop. I had been a loyal Floyd’s customer in Dallas for over seven years, so it was great knowing I wouldn’t have to give up a place and experience I had come to trust. I just had my second haircut at the Baybrook location on Monday, and once again I had a great experience. The shop has the same welcoming, energetic atmosphere I’ve always enjoyed at Floyd’s, and the team was friendly and professional. Most importantly, I left very happy with my haircut. It’s great to know that even after moving to a new city, I can continue counting on Floyd’s. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation from me!

I went here because it had good reviews but now I know people only reviewed it well to get the discount the apply when you review on Google Maps. One of the employees was yelling at her kids over the phone next to me during my haircut. The haircut itself was decent, but my request for the sides to be done a specific way was ignored.

I could not remember exactly who Amanda had recommended when she had to leave the shop I thought it might be the barber I was given that was a mistake. However when I asked for the best in the house and I could wait days if I needed to because my hair is everything to me in my business. I received a cut from someone who didn’t even have a barber license and was in school to get it. Not even given me what I asked for and questioning every cut and clip she did. I was trying to relax and a good shop but could not even do that. In my opinion and from this experience that person is probably not the best in the house.. Now I have to wait another two weeks and try again to find a person as good as Amanda was. This is not to be anything personal to the person who cut my hair she just was not what I asked for. Thanks for hearing me out.

I used online booking to book 3 services. The store ignored those, didn’t read the order, only performed haircut. I was planning to pay for a shampoo, styling, and a shave; these requests were ignored. What’s the point of the booking application if it’s ignored?

My service was great. This is the second time I have used Julie and my hair cut has been exactly what I asked for both times. Floyd's provides a great atmosphere along with a fair price.

My barber was so late (looked like he took on a client 5 minutes before my appointment) that I set there for almost 30min and was eventually put with someone else when I asked to cancel.

Hair was cut decent, sides were un even and stylist rushed and finished my cut in 20 min then went home.

The stylist Monica was extremely rude to my children and obviously didn't want to cut children's hair. I asked for one adjustment on my child's cut and she continued to give attitude and be rude the rest of the visit. Even making my child cry sighing and rolling her eyes as he was sitting in her chair. These are 8 & 9 year old boys, we walked in for haircuts not poor customer service and attitude. We have had an amazing experience with other stylist such as Rebecca and Christina but we will not be returning due to Monica's behavior. She should not be working with children.

Christina knew what I wanted. She gave great advice. She fixed my messed up haircut. She was very professional easy to talk to definitely gonna be my new stylist.
