Floyd's is where I've gone for almost 6 years. I made a point to find the Birmingham location when the Farmington one closed, even though it's 25 minutes away. The place is great.

Dan is great. He’s one of the rare guys who can handle both longer, shoulder-length hair and a tight skin fade equally well. He pays attention to how your hair actually grows, not just the haircut you ask for, and the cut always feels clean without looking forced. Easy to talk to, consistent, and clearly knows what he’s doing.

Lexie and Olivia were very accommodating. I came in the day before for my appointment, but the barber that was supposed to see me said he didn't know how to cut hair for "people like me." I felt hurt, especially since the person that was supposed to see me didn't have the skills to actually cut my hair. Olivia apologized and rescheduled my appointment the next day. When I came in the next day, I met with Lexie, and she was wonderful. She and Mika were very friendly, and Lexie did a great job with my skin fade. I've been going to Floyd's for years, but I think now I've found my barber in Lexie.

I haven't had a haircut in a few years. The last time I went somewhere else, they messed it up so bad that I had been discouraged. I saw the reviews and came here, and I was met with great service and a great cut. Mika was awesome and gave me a great experience. I will definitely be returning.

I was charged for a medium length cut even though I have short length hair. I was not told before, only after services were rendered leaving me to foot a bill that was not advertised or fair. Then I looked at my hair when I got home and it was spotty, uneven and shorter than I wanted. I then had to spend $70 for a last minute appointment with a real barber to fix my hair. In total I was expecting to pay less than $30, yet I spent over $100 because of negligence and utter disregard.

I had a perfect experience

I came into Floyd's not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair. I have really thick hair, and it felt like there was a helmet on my head with all of it. I sat down in Dan's chair and told him that he could change my hair however he wanted; I didn't want to be bald. I took off my glasses, and when I put them back on...I couldn't believe the person looking back at me. My hairstyle was just incredible. Please thank Dan for the incredible job that he did. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Lexie is the best in the biz. She knows my cut and only has to ask me “The usual?” She takes the extra time to double check that everything is evenly shaped because of how straight my hair is. Lexie and everyone at this location always take good care of me and I recommend the shop to everyone looking for a barber/hair stylist.

This was my second haircut and beard trim from Carlin Deville. 2nd time he delivered exactly what I wanted. Very pleased.

My son has been seeing Dang G. for most of his young life and Dan has been wonderful! He's the absolute best and Floyd's is lucky to have him.
