I’ve been coming to Floyd’s for years, but recently it’s gotten pretty expensive. For my 9-year-old son and me, we’re spending around $100 including tip for two haircuts. At that price, it’s becoming really hard to justify, especially when the experience and quality don’t feel particularly premium.

One thing that would help is if you kept notes on customers’ haircuts and preferences. I don’t always see the same stylist, and it would be great not to have to remember and explain exactly how my hair was cut the previous time whenever I see someone new.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was particularly bad. Like, really bad. My regular stylist was out, but my son and I needed haircuts that day, so we went with two other stylists. The person who cut my son’s hair left it incredibly uneven—to the point that it’s honestly embarrassing. We considered bringing him back to have someone fix it, but some areas were cut so short that I’m not sure there’s much that can be done until it grows out.

This also wasn’t a complicated haircut. He’s 9. No fade or special styling—we basically just asked for a normal boys’ haircut and to clean it up.

What made it especially disappointing is that we specifically brought him in to get cleaned up before school starts Monday, and now we’re sending him to school with a noticeably uneven haircut.

I’ve been a longtime customer and generally like Floyd’s, but if I’m going to spend around $100 every time my son and I get haircuts, I expect a much more consistent level of quality regardless of which stylist we get. I don’t know if we’ll be back.

Floyd’s books too many appointments and doesn’t have enough barbers to do line-ups and proper fades.

I’m very picking how my son’s hair looks when someone cuts it. And our barber did a great job on it.

The whole thing was lovely. But my mind was blown by how a hair cut and highlights on a 10-year-old boy could cost $240! I was in shock. The other Floyd’s (Hollywood) did exactly the same thing for $110. What are you guys doing?!

It’s very hit or missing this location. Sometimes I get a good haircut but my last experience was terrible. I used to be able to come and get a decent cut. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back.

To be clear… I would recommend Juliana to my friends and family.

Desiree is fantastic. My hair has gone through a lot of processing. It’s been bleach colored bleached. I needed a good haircut and she did that perfectly. And because she did such a great job, I decided to go back and have her bleach my roots. She got me platinum blonde and I’m so so happy. Highly highly recommend Floyd’s and specifically Desiree. Front desk to begin with is never friendly, or it seems we're doing them a favor. The stylists in general have been hit-and-miss. Clean cuts but the trend is taking more off than I want, or they're not listening to what I'm looking for. One previous stylist (not on Sunday), was defensive and seemed overall upset when I was telling her what I wanted. And she still cut it short.

I had my first straight edge razor shave about 6 years ago. This last visit met the same results…short wait, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

Easy to book. Great service, easy to get to, and good parking. We all loved the music and decor.

I've been going to the Burbank location because Melrose has been closed. It's a bit farther, but just down the road from the studio where I sometimes work. It's easy to find and parking is definitely easier than Melrose. Everyone there is very friendly. Still I hope Melrose reopens soon.

I’m having a rough go lately with Floyd’s. My regular stylist there has canceled on me 2x in a row (I don’t think our scheduled align very well is my guess) so I decided I’d go with someone else, Tina, because she was available on the weekend. But this morning I noticed a spot of my hair right along my face that has stripes. I came in to get my roots done with baby lights on my crown and a trim. But I kinda still have roots as the coloring doesn’t match perfectly and a spot that is stripy. I’d like to show someone and get it fixed please.

I had to go to sports clips today to have my haie fixed. First and Last time coming to floyds99.

Wait time was not an issue.
Too expensive for the simple buzz cut and stylist didn’t deliver.
