Maureen, the barber I had in my opinion is the best barber in the Phoenix area! Not only is she great at doing her job but she has a personality that is just beyond wonderful!

This is probably the last time I will go to Floyd’s. The quality of the haircut has been going down over the years and each one seems to be progressively further from what I asked for.

In this case, I asked for a two or three on the sides and finger length on top, which resulted in a fade. Additionally, my beard trim had asymmetrical lines and inconsistent length. When telling the barber that it was uneven, he said he couldn’t see the difference. I ended up telling him not to worry about it and that I would just fix it myself at home. When checking out, I was told that I had to pay for a “detailed beard trim” instead of a regular, even though no additional work was done after my initial complaint. The explanation for why it was considered a beard trim still doesn’t really make sense to me.

The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

I asked for a kind of complicated cut, at least I thought it was but Trinity was able to decipher what I was asking for by clarifying in a way that I understood. It turned out exactly how I wanted it.

I walked into Floyd’s looking like a guy who had spent six months living in the woods and communicating exclusively with squirrels.

Then Marianna happened.

I’m not saying she’s good at her job, but after she finished my haircut, three women smiled at me, a child saluted me, and my truck somehow gained 15 horsepower.

Before the haircut, I looked like the suspect in a true crime documentary.

After the haircut, I looked like the detective solving it.

Marianna possesses an alarming level of talent. She took my hair from “recently survived a tornado” to “middle management with a 850 credit score” in under an hour.

At one point she spun the chair around, looked at the finished product, and I swear bald eagles started circling overhead while the national anthem played faintly in the distance.

My wife said I looked handsome.

My dog respected me again.

My neighbors waved first.

I don’t understand the science behind any of this.

If Floyd’s 99 ever loses Marianna, I expect the local economy to collapse within weeks.

10/10. Five stars. Would trust Marianna with my haircut, my retirement account, and possibly emergency surgery if the situation got desperate enough.

I've never been to a Barber with that type of decor or music options. It was awesome. When we move back this is my Barber shop.

The cut and service

I was charged for a detailed beard trim and my beard was uneven and messy. My hair is so unevenly cut that I have to go get another haircut even though I just got one. I’ve come here for years but they charge too much for this kind of result to happen. I’m honestly not sure if I’ll ever be back which sucks because I used to love going there.

I’d highly recommend it! Rayna did an excellent job and she’s really down to earth! No doubt I’ll be back!
