I made an appointment, with no preference to the barber for 4:15pm, and they didn’t get me in the chair until after 5pm, while others were seated and serviced because they had specific barbers to go to. I just moved back to the area, so I’m technically new. Basically they treated me like a “walk-in” when I had an appointment.
My stylist was very informative and friendly. Listened to everything I said.
I returned after several years to this salon, and it was a good experience.
It was my first time visiting this barber shop and I was just blown away! Great conversation with the barber and the woman who worked the front desk. She even came over to jump in conversation when she had time. I did not already have an appointment but I called and at the time they were actually in a lull and I was told to come on over. They even set it up as an appointment for 15 min from when I called so I wouldn’t get there and have to wait.
There was nothing at all I could complain about having gone there, I actually recommended them to a few friends already. My brother in law had been going there for a few years and been telling me I have got to try them out and I’m glad I did. They definitely got a future new repeat customer outta me. FOSHO!!!
When told stylist would like a business cut, he either didn't understand but his response back was. Do you want a 4 or 6? I explained, I don't know what that is, and he just started to cut. And when I said an inch to an inch and a 1 I held my fingers to my scalp and the hair above my fingers would have been cut,
which now it is about a quarter of an inch. And it is a more representing of a crew cut
Didn't think nothing of it, but when sat in the chair immediately positioned it. So I could not see in the mirror that stayed roughly. Tell, it's the very last moments of the cut when I noticed there was a lot more taken off and what I originally requested.
Inconsistent cuts. We will probably take a break from Floyd’s after this experience. One bad experience really can leave an impression when it’s your hair and you have to walk around with it.
Ryan always does a great job.
Atmosphere is not my style,
Jess P was awesome as always. Great time. Had a wonderful conversation with her. She is very detail oriented, very gentle and handles you with care. She is probably the only barber that always gets my beard right! Highly recommend her.
Just always friendly
Frances was very friendly and polite and gave my son a great cut.
My son had had Marc cut his hair for years. Marc is great. Listens to what my son wants and does a great job every time!
Ria always makes me look and feel fabulous
Previous experiences had continued to decline in quality and satisfaction, but this recent experience was good.
I used to love the vibe with all of the stylists having their personal touch at their station and other fun things around the shop. Now it is generic and lost that personal touch and vibe. You can improve by allowing the stylists to personalize their station and return some of the other things that gave it a unique character.
Stacy is always very professional, always cares about how I want my hair to be done. She is very good listener as well.
Ria is the absolute best! My son is very particular about his hair and Ria takes the time and care to listen to him and get it exactly how he likes it to look!
Keith is very personable and made great suggestions while paying attention to what I was going for. Something really clicked because it’s my favorite look yet!
Thank you Ria and Keith!
Jo gives me a great cut and is very pleasant!
Amber is the best. I love the salon atmosphere.
Carmen does an amazing job! Great location!
I’ve been goin here for about a year now and I always book with Marc. He’s the best and I can honestly say this will be my local barber for as long as I need a cut. Love the atmosphere and it’s a plus that it’s close to home!
Jason always does an excellent job!
Jess was great!!!
Jess was very friendly!
Marc at Hourglass is the man.
Great service and great conversation everytime.
