My 3rd walk-in visit to Floyd’s , my third different barber. All three were spot on. I was normally an old spots clip guy for $25 and this is a little more pricey plus I am very good tipper for a mesquite resident , I know I work at pricey place. One of the staff was talking about trimmers and barberCon (didn’t know was a thing) and how well one tool works better for a job vs. the other to another co worker. Long teeth vs the short for fades, yada, yada, yada they are proud about their tools and sharing of how much they enjoy using this versus the other. They were Talking like how to do a better job for the next time. People that work and strive to be great with passion I get. I can support that at this price ever 8 weeks makes good work worth my time and money. Thanks Francisco and team. Plus the decorum is nostalgic and whatever’s on the TV is hilarious (French underwater hockey). Support a service industry person that carse about their craft
I like the friendly atmosphere and how laid-back and fun everyone is. So like that I see people I can identify with in my community and I feel like I’m supporting them and my community.
It was fast, and ai didn’t have to wait.
The other stylists didn’t seem very welcoming but ours was and he did a good cut. We were over charged by $10 though.
Overall usually happy with Stylist, but i have had 3 bad cuts now.
Every time I come to Floyds 99 no matter the location or barber/stylist I always get a really great hair cut.
The online booking system is fast and efficient! One of the best aspects of Floyd's! Makes it easy to build rapport with your Barber of choice!
reina is awesome always ajoy to see.
The barber Ross did an excellent job on my cut, I was very pleased.
A little to cold inside but very clean workers talking about there personal life didn't care for that.
Hospitality
Friendly crew
Floyd’s Inwood was super clean, upbeat, professional and over all amazing!! Great staff all around Sophie was very nice and bubbly!! Santiago was even attentive in making sure we were comfortable. Great shop!!
Only a 10 because he was so GREAT at his craft.
The stylist was nice and did a great job
The haircut was not great.
Excellent cut, friendly professional job
Very casual
I will recommend Santiago to every man that needs a barber. I will be back.
Jubilee is always on time and polite..
Excellent as always
Great service
Haircut was not very good, for like the third time now.
Francisco was most excellent. He was friendly, courteous, quick, and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it.
Reina did a great job shaping and correcting some blending on the sides. I am pleased with the results.
Jubilee is the best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Too expensive
Super friendly!
Better than the mockingbird loc. Good service, quick. No complaints. Recurring customer
Perfect stylist match for me. He was knowledgeable and educated me on best practices of hair care while ensuring I was happy with the cut and look I ended up with. Went above and beyond. Great member of the team
Very friendly staff from the moment you walk in.
Some girl named Andrea made it weird
Francisco is amazing. He’s going to be the reason I switch from sports clips to Floyd’s
Every staff member, and customer, was pleasant. The overall environment was great, and my stylist was exceptional.
The overall experience was nice. Barbershop was clean.
Been going to Floyd’s for years. Consistently a good experience.
I went to the location at the intersection of Inwood Road and Lemmon Avenue in Dallas. I did not have a reservation. I was a walk-in. I did have a reservation at the location in West Village in Dallas. My reservation was for 10:30 in the morning. I left at 10 o’clock in the morning which would allow sufficient time to make it to the West Village location. However, the major freeway between my home and the West Village had closed, so I called the store at West Village and explained I would be late. The receptionist was less than helpful. She simply said if you’re going to be more than 10 minutes late, you have to reschedule. We can’t keep your appointment. I thought I was talking to a recorded voice. There was no human interaction. There was just a flat tone. Now mind you this is location I have gone to for several years. I did not close the freeway, I did not know the freeway was going to be closed. The receptionist could not have cared less. So I did what she said I should do. I canceled the reservation at West Village. And then went to the Inwood and Lemmon location as a walk-in and everything was fine. The receptionist on Thursday at West Village at 10:15 am needs to told to discard the “I am so bored here” tone and decide if she wants a job.
The entire team is welcoming, professional, & extremely fast at men’s haircuts (coming from a military background-I love that!)
I have never had a bad haircut or beard trim.
Despite it not being one my regular barbers, the job came out fine
Stylist are excellent. Vibe of the shop is cmfortable, clean, and welcoming.
The people. The manager is the best!
No place really shows the pricing and it was $44 for a skin fade. Most places I visit might be upwards of $30-35 but for a 20min haircut, I pay contractors less to make home repairs. Insane.
Love Santiago!
It’s really a hit or miss
A few times I’ve been in there. I’ve had some great cuts.
Other times not so good
My most recent cut left a lot of stray hairs
And unfinished areas
STAR my stylist is the best !
Service is first class!
Even though I didn’t have an appt. They were quite accommodating.
Clean and friendly with experienced staff
Santiago is amazing along with the other staff I interacted with during my visit.
