Got a bad haircut from my stylist, I had to go back to get it fixed. They made it better, but not what I wanted.

I asked for my son’s hair to just be off his ears and neck and it’s extremely short all over. I’m just glad it has time to grow out before we see family this summer

Showed up at 7:40 PM on a Friday (5/8/2026). I was a walk-in and told by the receptionist that they were close to closing and could not take my son for a haircut. I noted that there were no customers in, their sign was open and illuminated as open, and there were approximately seven stylists standing or in their seats. A little disgruntled, I told them that they should turn off their open sign if they are not open for business. As I was getting in my car, one of the stylists came out and said that they could fit my son in. I went back in the store and the receptionist apologized, but I said not a big deal since my son could still get a haircut.

Here was the thing. I had an appointment. I walked in and there was about 20 people in the waiting room. I sat down and as soon as I sat down, they called me for my appointment. I had a haircut with Chuck and he did a great job and it was done in 20 minutes! I was in and out in 20 minutes. Fantastic trip to get a haircut!

The price points have gotten out of control. While I like my haircut, it took only 15 minutes and suddenly after years I’m charged for some new service called skin fade. I literally got a 1 buzzer high faded to a scissor cut on top. Add in tip and shampoo and I paid $63. After a decade of going to Floyd’s, sadly this will be my last time going. My stylist was great, but the price and value just isn’t appropriate.

Really friendly stylist. Good cut. My only complaint was that another stylist showed up late in my cut and was really rude to the guy cutting my hair. He seemed really nice. It just felt like she was bullying him. She seemed upset to even be near him. She told him not to blow stuff into her space (apparently this had happened at some point in the past). Then she followed up with “did you hear me!” I wish I had said something.

I had made a very bad choice the week before on a haircut and Cheryl fixed it. I look fantastic! I really didn’t expect much but I put on some semi professional clothes today and the haircut is what made me look sharp! Cheryl is a lifesaver!

You are the only barber we trust. My husband and I aren't frequent flyers and usually prefer minimal small talk, but the staff here is always so respectful, professional, and kind. We always leave feeling 'rehumanized' after a long stretch between cuts. Thank you for the skill and the empathy—this is truly the only place to go.
