We loved consistently going to two of your stylists- Mary and phoebe. But we had a terrible experience with the most recent stylist.

Alex S. was very friendly. Nice, easy person to talk to and she did an amazing job cutting my hair. I've gotten several compliments in the days after my visit. I will definitely be back.

Alex was toe-to-toe w me in enthusiasm, brio, joyful iconoclasm, & spirit of adventure. She is a joy—and she changed my life by introducing me to buzz cuts!! **** yeah!

On my recent visit I told my barber that I wanted to keep my top top of my hair long and also to watch out for my cowlicks that are at the crown of my scalp. He said he understood but by the time I walked out I had to shave with a number two. Up to nearly the top of my head. All of my hair on top was no longer than about an inch and he had trimmed my cowlicks down to about an inch. They are now just sticking straight out of the back of my head. I'm about to start a job in 2 weeks! And there's really no repair for the damage that he's done. I'm going to have to keep my hair short for some amount of time, and I hate it. I like having long hair. And my barber at my recent trip to Floyd's completely f***** it up.

The barber/stylist was super fun and made this harcut super easy on my child. I wish I remembered his name but the whole time he was very friendly and my son was very comfortable. That isn’t always the case when kids get haircuts. Just want to make sure our barber gets the recognition he deserves.

I’ve been going there there for over 5 years, the stylist didn’t follow my directions and rush my haircut leaving with a style that I didn’t want, I’ve been growing my hair for a few months and now is all gone. I will go back because I love the place but please don’t put me with that stylist again.

I had a really good experience at Floyd's. I was kinda nervous going in since it was my first time getting my hair dyed, but Alex made it super easy and comfortable. She talked me through everything and made sure I was good the whole time. Honestly, the results came out way better than I expected. I've been getting a lot of compliments since, which says a lot. Definitely glad I trusted her with it. I highly recommend Alex if you're thinking about trying something new with your hair

I showed barber 3 pics of what I wanted, a very gradual skin fade with no lines. He literally did exactly what I asked him not to do. A VERY defined line. I said I liked it, tipped, and left b/c I was feeling upset & didn't want to say anything. The guy was very nice and very likeable and professional, but I got a haircut I don't like at all and have no reason to come back there or recommend your business to anyone. If someone could fix this cut I'd be grateful, otherwise I'll have to just go pay for another cut elsewhere.

I liked my stylist. He did a great job of helping me figure out what hairstyle suited me, talked to me about product and was just generally an awesome dude.

Alex is an absolute asset to your company. She is a natural leader, and her skillset is 2nd to none. If it were not for Alex, I wouldn't even know about your establishment. As a salesman and facilitator myself, I can tell you that she is the definition of an entrepreneur. She found me out in the wild, and while making small talk, Alex was able to convince me to give Floyd's and her all of my business. Alex if you're reading this, thank you for everything! I look great, and I feel even better. It's all thanks to your talent, the fact you actually care about your clients and you're not afraid to tell them the truth about a look they request.

Was not the biggest fan of my cut that I recently got. Guy who did it was super genuine and nice however gave me razor burn on the neck and did not taper in the back properly

Tristan cut my hair very well and gave me good advice on what to do with my hair. I would come again.

I want to personally recommend Freya at the North Loop store. One of the best haircuts I have gotten in years. Attention to detail was fantastic. And her bedside manner was exceptional.

Really, everything was fine however, the service is inconsistent from one person to another… I've been there when I've had a shampoo included and neck trims and times when that has not been included, but always for the same price so it just seems like I'm not sure what I will or won't get. My most recent haircut from the older gentleman was a wonderful haircut… He was great

Stylist (who didn't introduce herself so I don't know her name) ignored my reference pictures and looked at a different picture on her phone that she didn't even show me. Hacked off about 4 inches longer than I requested and then asked "is the length okay?" When it was already obviously too late. I asked for a long shaggy mullet (very popular haircut these days) and left with what I can only describe as lego helmet hair meets coconut head from Ned's declassified. It's almost funny. I was in tears laughing at myself in the reflection of shop windows. I stopped to buy scissors from Walgreens on my way home to make it look better myself, and I think I salvaged it (mostly) but it will take at least a year to grow it out to the original length I wanted. It's frustrating. I probably won't be back, unfortunately.
