The woman that cut my hair messed up my cut and was rude to me. My normal stylist was on vaction and I had no choice on who would cut my hair

Earlier this summer i got an appointment w Flinte has been great every time. Both for quality of his work and his ability to communicate w me.

This was the worst haircut experience I have ever had. When I walked in for my 11:30 a.m. appointment there was only the receptionist and one stylist. The stylist was sitting in a chair yawning and when said something like, 'Are you awake enough for haircutting' she game me no response. Then it was downhill from there.

Floyd’s 99 Barbar shop came in contact back in March of 2025. New to Minnesota and my son Tysone needed a haircut and I honestly just googled but the reviews were always positive and the atmosphere was known to be inviting so we came. I paid for the experience for Tysone as he has challenges with sensory sounds, lights and large spaces. Since then we’ve struggled to find a person of color to cut his hair as turnovers are a thing until we found Flinte. Tysone was so calm and excited to get his haircut that he seemed Flinte as his new barbar.

Everyone is very friendly and the shop has a great vibe.

I’ve been a loyal Floyd’s client for years. I used to visit your Studio City and Sherman Oaks stores regularly when I lived in California. I moved to Minnesota in 2016 and would go to the North Loop location once or twice a year. It’s over 30 minutes to get there. I’ve had mostly good experiences there, however, after this last haircut, I’ll never return.

I brought my son (11) in for a cut and style. We brought three pictures of what we wanted. The stylist didn’t seem fazed and acknowledged what we wanted. About half way through the cut, she needed to call over her manager on duty to help, but by that point, the cut was already ruined. She apologized and offered a discount on the cut, but the damage was done and my son was sobbing afterwards. It wasn’t just that he didn’t get the style he asked for, but it was a bad haircut. We wound up taking him to another stylist the next day who cleaned up what they could of his hair. Suffice to say, I won’t be returning or recommending Floyd’s anymore.

I always get terrific haircuts from Feleecia, suited to my own style. The scheduling process is very easy online. The facility is clean and fun inside. Awesome process from start to finish.

the girl who cut my hair didn’t really know how to do a fade. she left a line in it, and when she said she was done, one side of my hair was longer than the other. when she showed my mom the finished low taper, my mom immediately said it didn’t look right and even said it looked like a toupee. she asked if someone else could fix it, so another barber came over while she was still cutting my hair.

the guy definitely made it look a lot better and fixed the fade, but it still wasn’t what i originally wanted. to fix everything, they had to cut it shorter than i asked for. i still tipped $5 because i’m a nice person and i think everyone deserves a tip for their work, but honestly i didn’t have a good experience that day. usually i leave happy with my haircut, but this time i didn’t. my hair just wasn’t what i wanted.

On my recent visit I told my barber that I wanted to keep my top top of my hair long and also to watch out for my cowlicks that are at the crown of my scalp. He said he understood but by the time I walked out I had to shave with a number two. Up to nearly the top of my head. All of my hair on top was no longer than about an inch and he had trimmed my cowlicks down to about an inch. They are now just sticking straight out of the back of my head. I'm about to start a job in 2 weeks! And there's really no repair for the damage that he's done. I'm going to have to keep my hair short for some amount of time, and I hate it. I like having long hair. And my barber at my recent trip to Floyd's completely f***** it up.

The barber/stylist was super fun and made this harcut super easy on my child. I wish I remembered his name but the whole time he was very friendly and my son was very comfortable. That isn’t always the case when kids get haircuts. Just want to make sure our barber gets the recognition he deserves.

I’ve been going there there for over 5 years, the stylist didn’t follow my directions and rush my haircut leaving with a style that I didn’t want, I’ve been growing my hair for a few months and now is all gone. I will go back because I love the place but please don’t put me with that stylist again.
