My husband and I recently rented tuxedos for a special event. The associate who assisted us during the fitting was courteous and professional, and based on that experience, we felt confident that our tuxedos would be correctly sized at pickup. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Because we were pressed for time when picking up our order, we were unable to try on the items in-store. On the day of the event, we discovered multiple issues that significantly impacted our experience.

For my order (38-112171), the vest was far too large, and the shirt was the wrong size entirely. The collar would not button, making it impossible to wear the shirt, vest, or bow tie. It was embarrassing to attend a black‑tie event without a bow tie due to these sizing errors.

For my husband’s order (38-112173), the vest was too small and could not be buttoned, and the pants were also too small, leaving him unable to wear them. He was forced to wear mismatched items as a result.

We were extremely disappointed with how these issues affected our very special event. After a professional fitting and clear expectations, the outcome fell far below what we anticipated.

The shirt was too tight and I couldn’t button it to the neck and the guy didn’t resize the shirt. The jacket was way too tight. Overall the suit was very uncomfortable.

Good selection of styles but not overwhelming. Website is easy to use (although you can’t use Canadian credit cards on the site, but they let us pay on pick-up). Staff was super helpful and efficient. Quality of items rented was really good. Excellent experience overall.

For my son's wedding i was given the wrong color suit. Friar tux gave me a free rental as compensation for their error. When i rented a suit a second time for a special occasion they remeasured me due to recent weight loss. When i put on my suit for the night i my shirt collar was so tight I could hardly breathe and had to hide the fact that my top shirt button was open all night. Disaster for pictures! Total fail on Friar tux twice!!!

Service was excellent and shipping to home was great.

First time got measured and fitted to see what size I needed after I went back to get fitted for the suit nothing was right and pants needed to be order because I received a smaller size than what I needed. Third time I went again to pick up shirt and jacket were too big to where I just was over it already, pants were perfect the third time. Workers need to pay more attention to detail, get fitments right and be more organized. Definitely will not be going back for poor service.

I’ve used this service twice and neither time did the size come out right the first time. Even when I was sized by the brick and mortar store.

It was fast service even when I ordered a shirt it came so fast that I picked it up the same day as my rental!

I have zero complaints about this place, the staff was kind, got us in and out quickly, everything fit the way it should have. Excellent job.

The delivary and drop off was the best.

Everything was great, professional, and they took their time to make sure everything was as it should be. There was a very faint stain (likely a permanent one - kind of a pink hue, but you had to REALLY look to see it) on the shirt I was renting, but it was in a location that would not be seen, and it wasn't as crispy ironed as I would expect, but it served its purpose and looked nice - overall I was happy with the rental and the value I got from it.

The staff at this store very very friendly and very helpful.Unfortunately I had to go there for some funeral attair and I explained the situation to the manager/ staff that was on duty was polite and respectful / remorseful. And that means a lot in my book. Thank You For Your Kindness

The suit fit perfectly. The process was quick and easy. Very affordable plus they look amazing. The staff are all friendly they help you out on everything if you have questions they answer them almost immediately. I would definitely go here to get a suit again.
