Convenience and reliability

There was one person who helped us initially who was great but then they left the store. The rest of the employees where mediocre at best. I was never informed when my suit came in and had to call the store to ask if it had arrived. Only after I called asking about my suit did I receive a call telling me it was in, which I already knew since I had called. The person helping in the fitting kept trying to tell my wife, fiancé at the time how the pants should be basically arguing with a bride. He was correct for normal shoes but was wrong for boots which I was wearing. The final problem is that they cant alter any suits beyond changing pants length. The only reason I stayed is because they where the only store with the color I wanted, if another store had the same color I would have gone elsewhere. All in all it was a mediocre experience.

The staff was highly welcoming, professional and down to earth. They made recommendations and were more than willing to accommodate. 10/10 truly.

Did a good fitting my tux and Jacket. Did not wear the shoes. They fit too tight. I am a 4EEEE.

You didn't deliver my tux to the store as requested and I spoke to asst Mgr to have this done. Then I had to ride all the way to Anaheim to get my tux.

I had a great experience, my tux fit perfect and I’m not an easy guy to fit. Very helpful staff.

I was fitted the day before in Laguna Niguel. I called the next afternoon & they said "sorry our warehouse computer crashed, it happens once a month. You can either drive to our warehouse 45 mins away or come in & we'll throw something together." So I ended up going to the store and they gave me pieces, but they didn't fit as well as expected. And I wasn't offered any reimbursement or compensation for the lack of having my suit there. I thought at least they should offer something, but I didn't have time to haggle with them.

The extra steps taken to ensure I had the correct fit was beyond expectations. The communication with the staff was more than I could have asked for.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to my needs throughout the rental process.

Amazing customer service!

There is no inlay fabric included in the suits, so I was unable to get it altered to fit. I had to return the suit and go with another store.

The fitting was great. The service was great. Only one thing was forgotten the bowtie, although it was adjustable would not open enough to go over my head so I improvised put a regular tie on did not use the vest that would've made the whole suit of tuxedo and went onto the wedding and everything worked out great Just a little reminder. Check the bowtie over your head.

We liked the fact that an appointment was made for a fitting. My husband who is handicapped especially liked the individual attention given to him by Donna the Manager. Donna was absolutely terrific and patient with my husband who had difficulty standing with his mobility issues. He was hard to fit and she did a great job. We came in for his final fitting and was not pleased with the way the jacket fitted him. The jacket was cut poorly and although it was the correct size the jacket pulled on one side. when buttoned. The jacket did not close the way the jacket that he initially tried on when Donna fitted him. This jacket was poorly made. When I told James , he basically told me that my husband could not take a bigger size which I knew was not the problem . The issue was the way it was cut. Anyway since we were leaving to fly to NY for a wedding we just took the tux as is. I also asked James to show me how to do the hardware for the buttons and asked him if I could do it a head of time before my husband put the shirt on. He said no because they would drop out. Getting those pieces in the button holds of a shirt white it was on was so difficult and especially because of my husband's lack of mobility. The store was very crowded when we went on a Friday afternoon to pick up the tux and I truly believe that James really did not want to deal with us and take the time to provide options to my husband for the jacket.I think he might have been the only one there at that time around 4 pm and on a Friday afternoon when a lot of people pick up for weekends maybe there should be more personnel in the store. Also I asked about pressing as the jacket and tie really needed it. James told me when I got to my hotel to use the iron that was usually in hotel rooms or get it pressed. Frustrated, at that point I just took the tux and left. We did not use the tie it looked really cheap and was wrinkled. My husband had a much nicer one that he owned. When I returned the tux Tim was in the store- I told him of our experience with the fitting and Tim told me of course you could have put those studs into the button holds beforehand and apologized for the fitting of the jacket. My husband was not in the wedding party so he never buttoned the jacket the entire night. But that jacket should never have been put into circulation with it pulling on one side - just a bad cut of fabric when they made it. Otherwise I would certainly recommend Friar Tux - especially Donna for a fitting and Tim for his expertise and advise. They had good customer communication and efficient and reliable on the timing.

The Laguna Niguel team was awesome in helping me set everything up for my wedding. The suits looked great & was easy to return.
