Mr Austin is the best. He is doing a great job running the program. My daughter is happy attending afterschool.
This program has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing, especially in how they handle children with special needs. My child was accepted into their program with the understanding that his needs could be accommodated. However, after enrollment, the rules were suddenly changed, and I was told he could not attend without a chaperone, something that was never communicated beforehand.
On the day this occurred, I was informed it was due to an emergency situation because the therapist had quit without notice. While I understand emergencies can happen, the way it was handled was completely unacceptable.
What is most concerning is how they handled the situation in real time. My child was refused entry, even temporarily, and was left waiting on a bus for nearly 40 minutes instead of being safely accommodated while I arrived for pickup. This raises serious concerns about their judgment and level of care for children.
Additionally, the response from leadership was dismissive and lacked empathy or understanding, which is alarming for a program that is supposed to support children and families.
I would not recommend this program to any parent, especially those with children who require additional support.
Availability and flexibility and location
I really recommended is clean is organized and They support and understand any cituacion
Steven and Holly are incredible and my kids are very happy there in the morning this year. Last year they didn't do anything but have to sit at a table so they love going to the Y in the mornings this year.
It's a good experience
Very nice and attentive staff. Gaby the aftercare coordinator is excellent and I would recommend this YMCA to my family and friends.
The staff is very effective and the place is warm
