I love everything about Pure Barre - the workouts that always push me - the amazing teachers and staff that are always friendly, encouraging and always there to answer any questions. And the people that go to barre are amazing. Overall it is a place to feel comfortable and get a great workout in with friends.
I would have rated this a "10" under the original owner; however, the quality of the studio has fallen drastically under the current ownership. There are fewer class offerings and the majority of the classes are taught by a teacher that doesn't do the moves correctly, gives instructions that are hard to follow, chooses horrible music, and doesn't make corrections when guests are moving incorrectly. The equipment is in poor shape and the studio isn't as clean as it was under the original owner. All in all, the studio is in a steep decline.
I love that the workouts challenge me and I never get bored of them, and that the community is so kind and supportive
Find a new owner for our local studio. She is absent all the time⦠she has been trying to sell the studio. She really has run it down since she bought it from the previous owner. I love Pure Barre but may leave due to the poorly run studio.
I love the structure, all the formats, how you have the full body workout, and the instructors and people you work out with are amazing. I look forward to working out daily.
The studio has been less clean and it would be great to get a better variety of retail in. Many of us would do more shopping if it wasn't just the same 3 leggings and tanks/sports bras. In the fall some cute jackets/sweatshirts and such would sell better
1 very poor instructor that despite many complaints by members is still teaching!'n
Primary concern: Quality of instruction from newer instructors has diminished both the fitness benefits and the enjoyment.
Great teachers, fun culture, low impact exercises that work the entire body.
I love the energy of working out in a group setting. It works for me. And the best part is the community one builds in the process.
Love that it's never boring, always fun, awesome instructors that encourage you, clean studio. I've been going for about a year and I'm excited to continue!!!
The teachers, the workouts, the community.
Full body workout! I can modify when I need to. Instructors are great!
I love my Barre classes! I love the routine, consistent training and instruction. Definitely would recommend to a friend!
I have been a member for a number of years and feel like the number of classes and teachers has gone down. There are currently only a few classes with teachers who are veterans and a large number of them with a teacher who has been there a year, but is not a good instructor. She doesn't know basic things (counting) and seems like she's teaching classes she shouldn't be (Define). She doesn't seem very familiar with barre and doesn't model, correct, or tell people how to set up the move (ex.; head down, tuck your hips, feet hip width and center), she'll just say "put your leg back and push it towards the ceiling". It's fine for me since I know what I am doing, but new people aren't learning to do the moves properly. I avoid her classes, which is hard since she teaches a lot. I love Pure Barre, but have been getting discouraged lately. Thanks for listening!
The core strength it gives, the various types of workouts - especially Classic and Reform. It's a perfect length time with various time options throughout the day to choose from.
What I love about Pure Barre is that it's a full-body workout in just 30â50 minutes, you get the movement and intensity you need. And that's not even mentioning the beautiful, supportive community that makes every class even better! ð¤
I love the sense of community at PBB. It's a very welcoming environment for all who attend class.
I love the instructors, I love the shake, I love the music, I love the people. Everything about pure barre rocks. Not much more to say. It's fantastic, I feel stronger and better about myself every time I go.
It helps me stay in shape! It works all the muscles groups and you get a very good all body workout!
The instructors, the locations, the programming. I love it all.
Most of the instructors actually help you in class with form and make sure you're doing it right to stay safe and get the best workout!
Variety of times and classes
Racking the heavy weights is a huge pain and I hurt myself like every time. Can we figure out a better solution for this?
Over the last few months, I've noticed a decline at the studio. I consistently attend the noon classes, as they're the only ones that fit my schedule. With no explanation, the Monday noon class disappeared from the schedule, which significantly reduces the value of my unlimited membership. Classes have also been cancelled with little to no warning, and the consistency I've valued since the studio was established seems to have faded. The teachers remain wonderful, but the organization and commitment to keeping classes on the schedule has waned.
