Very friendly employees, they are not aggressively trying to sell things like air filters, windshield wipers, etc when you say you just want the oil changed. They are very knowledgeable about the best type of oil for your car and they help explain why it helps your cars maintenance

Had a really bad experience today. I come to this Jiffy Lube instead of the one that is 5 minutes from my house because in the past there is great customer service and communication. That was not the case today. I got an estimate for services last week and was told to just call the day before so the parts could be ordered and would be there the next day and it would take about an hour for the work to be done. So that is exactly what I did. I called yesterday around 3pm and whoever I spoke to said they would tell a manager to order the parts and to come as early as possible today. I did that and arrived at 8:15 a.m. since they open at 8:00 a.m. When I arrived the first thing I asked was if the parts had been ordered and was told no, but that they were “right up the street” and it wouldn’t take long. After over an hour I was told the parts were about 10 minutes away. I don’t know how right up the street turned into over an hour away. I was then told about 2 additional recommended services, asked how much longer (since I needed to get to work and had not planned to be there this long) which I agreed to. I was told that it would be about 20 more minutes. That would have been around 10:30 a.m. Around 10:50 a.m. I was told that they were wrapping up, but just found a new issue and was now offered to be driven to work (which is not near the Jiffy Lube location).
Then I was quickly told the issue was resolved. The issue was in fact NOT resolved. While they told me what it was, they said they don’t really do electrical work and couldn’t fix it. Mind you, NO indicator lights were on when I took the car in this morning. However, when I finally got to my car around 11:30 a.m., not only was the check engine light now on, but an additional indicator light was also now on that had not been. I went back to the technician to ask about this and he said the check engine light was the result of the electrical issue and he hadn’t worked on the other system so he was not sure why that indicator light was on. As I had a substantial drive either back home or to work, I asked if it was safe to drive the car with both of those lights on and was told yes, but JT was not reassuring at all. So after spending $1,000.00 on the original issue I came for I now have to go to the dealership and spend who knows how much money on a major issue they created and was not there when I dropped the car off and were unable to resolve. Yay for me.
