I Feel all classes are very good. It would be nice to have a separate area away from kids and arena for entering and exiting the Y. It is sometimes very chaotic getting through the foyer with all the kids and there hockey bags. they are very noisey and do not have any respect for the older adults that can be walking the track.

I love the classes. The evening and early morning classes are the only ones I can make it to, but they are the perfect variety for me.

Very positive , friendly and welcoming envirorment

I like the variety of programs….the friendly staff … the skills the staff have to share…

Love the classes and the instructors are great

Pickleball was great!

Friendly staff, good variety of classes..welcoming atmosphere..

Great friendly staff. Clean and comfortable gym offering great value

Classes are what I enjoy. Machines are of no interest to me. There’s many options of classes but many canceled as well due to a plethora of reasons. The location is ideal however Lambton Shores gets a star rating of 2 for the care taking of building. The lobby of building usually clean the rest of communal areas ie. gymnasium, washrooms, stairwells are not maintained. HVAC system frequently in question of efficiency. Is that a health and safety issue? Perhaps! “Y” team are excellent as they all bring their A game each class.

Love the staff - they are always very welcoming. I really wish the hours on Fridays and the weekend were longer. The shorter hours on these three days are a big deterrent for me and my partner to go to a different gym. Also - PLEASE can the Forest YMCA get more mirrors? It is really difficult to check your form and proper technique without a mirror. Especially in front of the squat racks. Would also be nice to see some new equipment, or a larger space. Overall, the experience is always great - but definitely room for improvement.

Great Staff

Reasonable price and I appreciate being able to use different Y’s in other cities

Great gym, clean equipment, very pleasant and friendly employees, and good location for workouts every year when we're here on vacation!

Great location and variety of machine, nice staff!!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The facility is kept very clean and organized.
The members are very friendly also I really enjoyed my time there.

Excellent facility with amazing employees . So very lucky to have the

Great facility. So lucky to have an establishment like this in a small town. Great variety of programs and time schedules. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Los aparatos y la limpieza que tiene las instalaciones

Nice gym, friendly staff

I like the convenience of having a fitness centre close to home, and the fact it is clean and never overcrowded. The equipment is fine also. I would like to see the fitness centre expanded one day if possible.

The manager Carrie at the Forest Ontario YMCA is absolutely amazing.

There are

This is a great facility for a community of this size. The equipment provides what I need and the M-F staff members are great! I love the mission and the people. A couple of observations (not criticisms - just thoughts) 1) we need more treadmills, OR, walkers who are also on their phones (scrolling and talking) should use the track. If you are under 30 and walking slow enough to scroll, you don't need a treadmill; 2) related to this, the weekend staff spend too much time on their phones and not enough time monitoring the room.

Clean and friendly/not too busy! My only complaint is the showers are poor/ no water pressure!

Excellent gym while we spend the summer season at our campground.

I really enjoy the ymca, the staff are amazing and there is classes and equipment for everyones needs and abilities. I just wish there was an option just for classes at a cheaper rate
I find the 80.00 for enhance is alot of money especially if i only attend a few classes and have no interest in the gym equipment. My sister waa asking as she liked to join classes too but agreed the 80.00 a month is alot during this time for classes.

The ymca as it exists is fine but it would be great to have a yoga studio and a pool.

The staff and the classes are amazing!

The Shores Y feels more homey due to its small size, it’s clean, well managed, and provides various workout areas. In addition, there is good quality cardio equipment and weight training equipment to choose from.

Friendly staff accommodating for child minding fun place to go and work out

This is one of the busiest YMCAs around here and it's way too small for the number of people attending. The equipment is VERY old and in need of updating. Forest should be on the list for a new YMCA or move the Y into the gym space to have more available space for members.

Great welcoming staff, great classes, great atmosphere

Well organized, great programs, well informed staff

Variety

The kids have fun! The leaders do their best to interact with the kids and give them a good time.

My kids have attended various Y camps at different locations, and they always ask to go back to Forest. The staff are caring, and they really get the kids engaged. The staff plan fun activities that always get the kids wanting to go back, and they really foster friendships among the kids.

The Lambton Shores Y is great. It is a wonderful community resource, the staff members are friendly and helpful, and the vibe is about health and wellness for everyone. Props to Dawn and Karen, who both do a great job of welcoming everyone who comes in the door.

1. The gym is small and could use a couple more machines. 2. The hours are abit ridiculous. Should be open later and more on weekends. 3. The employees and people at the ymca are top shelf though 👍

Variety

I like having variety of classes. Some cardio, stretch and some strengthening. Classes are nice and small.

Just use the gym it is great 👍

The classes are my favourite. Timing doesn't always work but that's on me. When I go I like to do two classes in a row. So back to back is key

Clean, friendly. Staff is helpful to take time to figure out a program that really works best for the client.

cheaper membership price

Friendly staff! Nice clean facilities.

The Y at this location offers so many different classes with a variety of workouts.

Friendly people. The ladies at desk are nice. Only gym around here really the others are over priced

The staff is very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and dedicated. The Y offers many different programs and classes to choose from. A wonderful setting to stay fit, to get fit and to make friends.

Great instructors

Staff is friendly, group classes are fun!
