I love my pure barre fairfield!

Studio cleanliness

Ive been part of Pure Barre for over 10 years. I love the Fairfield CT studio, the teachers and the classes offered. For almost a year now many members including myself who take Define regularly have requested for more weights. The Fairfield CT studio has a lot of 10lb weights, but many of us have worked up to heavier weights by taking this class consistently. There are at least 8-10 of us that take Define regularly and are all looking for 12, 15 and 20 lb weights and there are probably only 2-3 sets of each. The most surprising thing is that we have left messages, asked in person and emailed (including the manager) and have had no change. This is going on a year now! First we were told we would not be getting additional weights and people started to bring their own from home (like literally carrying 2 x 20 lb weights to class each week) and then we were told they were on backorder, but that was months ago. This is really shocking and as a result members are leaving. There are a lot of boot camp offerings in Fairfield that because we can not get a good workout in a Define class limited to 10lb weights, you are losing members to other options in town. I know the manager of the studio is aware, but am wondering if the owner is aware that they are losing regular and long term members due to a few sets of weights! Its extremely frustrating, that as a member it feels we are being ignored for something that seems like a simple ask Maureen

I love classic class and define. Those combination of classes keep my body toned and lean. Pure Barre is a full body workout with great choreography and music so it makes it an enjoyable workout!

Supportive community and very effective workout

Always a spot available

Every class is different! Instructors help you to get the maximum benefit from the class. Overall I love how strong I feel afterwards.

I love Pure Barre, but would also love for there to be a late morning or afternoon option on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.

Kimberly! The music.

Quality of teachers, effectiveness of classes and pleasant welcoming environment.

The level of instruction is excellent

Some instructors are more welcoming than others, and the vibe of the class is definitely different from class to class because of this. A "hello" goes a long way.

Teaching style is largely formulaic. Music is not great & often too loud (which doesn't make mediocre music better). The 45 - 50 minute format is too short to allow enough arm work, enough stretching. In comparison to other barre studios, the classes feel flat & aren't sociable nor fun.

The class instructors are the best in the business!

Lack of judgement. Friendly staff and clients.

I love the teachers and the positive atmosphere.

Instructors are amazing teachers, switching up the routine every 2 weeks, and keeping the energy level high. They offer permission to meet our bodies where they are each class and provide encouragement. PB is a safe and caring space. The community of students is welcoming.

Highly effective mind body workout. Everyone at the studio is welcoming and supportive.

It's a full body workout that creates leaned toned muscles without putting wear and tear on your body. The music makes it go by quickly. I like the different class options such as classic and define.

It gives you a good, full body workout and different class options. There is a social aspect as well, with the other people taking classes. The instructors are amazing at what they do but sometimes you get one who isn't really trained well enough to conduct a class.

Great staff and instructors. Great fun.

The well-designed workouts that compliment one another. There's something for everyone!

Great workout! Very challenging

Depends on the instructor

Love the pace of the class and the focus on various muscles groups. I always feel strong and accomplished afterwards.

I love that I feel like a little girl in dance class. It is the only exercise I have ever really loved. I love the community of people (teachers and students) and the variety of the schedule. Plus reform. Best. Class. Ever. #TeamReform

Classes are. It packed Friendly stuff

The workout, community and teachers.

Pure Barre is not only a great workout but an awesome community.

Great instructors & a beautiful studio filled with light.

Teachers and community!

Nicole B is the best. Her choreography and cues are on point. They're clear and she keeps it moving while motivating. Shes a 10/10!

The workout is very effective and with music it makes working out fun.

Strengthens and tones muscles without a lot of wear and tear on the body. I like how the movements go with the music. Always challenging. Best exercises for seat and abs

Love how the music can distract you from the pain. I also love the instructors.

Mind body connection; time to focus on me; very effective workout

Vacuum the carpet more frequently. Fresh coat of paint.

The people who teach and take the classes. Together we have a great community!

Love the class and how it makes me feel. The music is great, the teachers are great, and the class times are helpful. Special shout out to Kimberly! She's so good.

The class was very challenging

Due to canceling my membership. Since Feb is a short month. I email on 2/15 since my billing date is the 15th of the month. So due to a technicality because of the shorter month. I am not available to cancel my membership till 4/15. I will be billed on 3/15. For being so shortsighted the Darien studio has now lost three customers. Myself and both of my daughters. The way the studio is handling the situation really upset after being a local customer for years.

The instructors are great. Classes are well paced. I always feel stronger when I leave.

Always challenging, always physically and mentally beneficial. Excellent instructors!

The price raise was so significant it doesnt match the level of facilities. A smaller price increase would've been understandable but the studio isn't new. It doesn't justify the new price and opens the door for people to shop around

Beautiful studio with great, motivating instructors.

The instructors are excellent, keeping you motivated and correcting form when appropriate. I like that there are multi-generations who take the classes. There are a variety of class types. I prefer Define, Reform and Empower. It's a great community and the workouts keep me fit!

Love the music and energy of instructors but also how it makes you feel afterwards

Everything!

I like how well they train their instructors, you can tell they know exactly what they are doing. I wish the Fairfield and Westport studio had more Align and reform classes available and also more late classes, since a lot of people work till 5:30 and we cannot make it on time.
