The middle school Academy gives students the opportunity to work on homework, have social activities that involve teambuilding, and provides families an opportunity to meet other families during the course of the year.

The Ymca middle school academy has been truly a blessing to our family. We only learned about this program. When our son was in the 7th grade. The school that he attends has a high school start and end time. We would have to drop him off when it's still dark outside. Once he joined the middle school academy. We were able to drop him off. Knowing that he was safe not only from the weather. But more importantly any possible danger. From being outside unattended before the start or end of school.
