Friendly staff , clean

I am a little disappointed that it has taken more than a month to replace a cable on the Matrix cable machine which is widely used by the members.

There are too many schedule changes to keep track of when you have adult times to swim

Welcoming staff. Clean and professional facilities.
I primarily use the weight room, but have never had a problem with the equipment or access to any machines.

Well, you do need to be in the right financial position to afford a membership...especially families, so I am sympathetic to that fact and don't go off spouting membership to people I know who can't afford it!

I like the size of the facility and the location. It’s a clean and bright atmosphere and the instructors are energetic and engaging.

More aqua dance classes and hire more dedicated instructors like the one you have.

So far I have been very impressed with the service offered,nice staff, and how clean the building is.

I always feel welcome coming to the Y. I especially appreciate the wonderful janitor they have there, Jack, I believe is his name. He goes above and beyond and I always see him working hard. I am amazed at how spotless all parts of the facility are and it truly makes my visit more comfortable. (The man deserves a raise!!) I like the community-feel they have as well and I look forward to coming back everytime.

This small town YMCA has a lot to offer for all ages. I have to say the staff is it's biggest asset. They are helpful and make my experience fun.

Would like more affordable memberships that include classes and better gym hours

It would be nice if the temp in the change rooms was warmer.

It would be nice if lane swim was available all day especially since Sarnia YMCA lane pool has been closed multiple times this last time has been over a week. I do love the water bottle filling station recently put in between the bathrooms!

I believe that there should be more rec swims available in the evening. Most people work until 5, then we only get from 7 to 8 for a lane swim, not even rec swim while there is swimming lessons etc going on. Just frustrating

Great elderly programs.

I am very pleased with the many seniors activities that are available for us. Even though some of us are not able to participate in all of the planned activities our problems whether big or small are accepted and all are encouraged to keep moving to the best of our ability. All of the instructors plan activities that address both our weaknesses and our strengths.

The reasons I like the Y is because of the moderate level fitness classes, aqua fit, lane swim, yoga, and friendly staff. My only suggestion is there could be a larger space for yoga, the current kitchen/activity room is often too full for the number of people who show up. If a larger space isn't an option perhaps have a limit on participants, maybe a sign up sheet.

Instructors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It's very welcoming and feels like a community.

I enjoy swimming, glad to have the pool so close by. I attended boomers with a friend for the first time. We both very much enjoyed boomers.

Lots of equipment for beginners to advanced lifting.

Great variety of class programs that I like and am enjoying. I should have became a member of the YMCA long before February, 2026. Very clean building on the inside.
