Great teachers, friendly staff. The room we were in smelled horrible! Are these rooms properly cleaned? I have noticed over the last few months more sticky surfaces, more spots and stains. I understand that people work out and sweat here but it is not an inviting environment when the room stinks before the class even starts and the floor is sticky. I pay a lot of money and spend a lot of time here, would be nice if the studio was kept up with!
I'm not sure what has been happening, but ever since we got this new teacher the music is louder and louder every week. Last week I came home with a head ache. This week I was sick to my stomach by the time the class was over. Why does it have to be so loud?!?
I signed up hoping for a welcoming place to build strength, but my first month has been disappointing. As a beginner, I often struggled to follow the movements, and the instructors moved on without checking my form or explaining modifications. Everyone was friendly at check-in, but I didn’t feel supported once class started.
The evening classes have also felt crowded. There wasn’t much room between people, and it was sometimes difficult to hear instructions over the music. On a couple of visits, the mats and equipment didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned between classes.
Scheduling has been frustrating too. The after-work classes I can attend are frequently waitlisted, so I haven’t been able to use my membership as much as I expected. I also received a late cancellation charge when I thought I had canceled in time. I contacted the studio for clarification but haven’t received a clear explanation.
I like the idea of the workout, but for the membership price, I expected more individual guidance, better class availability, and more responsive communication. Right now, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it to a friend.
I’ve been coming to this location for years, but over the past few months, it seems like things have really gone downhill. The new instructor isn’t very friendly or motivating.
Lack of cleanliness and unprofessional staff
Would love a greater variety of retail than just crop tops :)
Previously I would have given PBF a 10/10 and recommended to anyone. However, since the transition has happened communication has been dodgy and defensive. PBF has been my home away from home and happy place for over 12 years. The disruption in routine has been very upsetting and with no clear timeline for when we will be back to a full schedule of in studio classes in a true pure barre studio. I feel like a once thriving community is quickly falling apart and it is disheartening. Recent resignation of management/leadership is also concerning. I do appreciate the livestream classes and I am able to take class at Roots some on the weekends and while it is not the same as being in a true PB studio it is a nice facility and good to see some of our community and be with the remaining (amazing) teachers. WIth no clear timeline for the future (and with things seemingly moving at an incredibly slow place) it is hard to recommend PBF to new clients at this time.
I love the vibe, instructors, and the style of workout. I have done Pure Barre for 10 years and will never not love it! Join in!
Great workout, good music great instructors
I like the workout. Staff is friendly. Studio is clean
It's a friendly, clean and organized space to do you exercise.
Possible afternoon sunday class in the schedule. Membership pricing promos. Feeling the $ pressure of everything in general.
More class times
The classes the environment and especially the teachers. The decor is amazing, and the clothes are always an amazing selection. Would like maybe not as pricey or more sale offers .
I love everything about Pure Barre - the workouts that always push me - the amazing teachers and staff that are always friendly, encouraging and always there to answer any questions. And the people that go to barre are amazing. Overall it is a place to feel comfortable and get a great workout in with friends.
I love my pure barre fairfield!
I love the community that Erin has built and the body positive and inclusive environment. I also love the workouts and the encouragement from instructors and clients.
I absolutely love Pure Barre Youngstown! The welcoming environment makes you feel like part of a community, and I love that every instructor knows your name and makes you feel seen and encouraged. The classes are challenging, empowering, and something I genuinely look forward to. Even on the days when it's hard to show up, I know I'll never regret it. I love chasing that post-class high and walking out of the studio feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of myself. Every class reminds me why I love Pure Barre so much!
I would like more morning options (5:30 am on most weekday mornings would be great). I can only do 6 on some days, and often it is not the days it is offered.
More classic classes at the 5:30 hour! I haven't taken a classic class in months due to 5:30 being the only time I can go and Kirkland being the studio that makes the most sense. There's been too much align on the schedule.
The community & family feeling! Sad to be taking a break due to cost & finances but I hope I can return
Everything. The variety, the instructors.
I love that Barre offers different class formats and so I get different workouts. I have seen changes in my body and love the sense of community. Also we are lucky that we can use both Studios which is very convenient.
The instructors are the BEST and the studio has a fun welcoming vibe!
I like that each class is a little different. Even if it's the same format! The instructors right now are all AMAZING!
