Class times work well for my schedule and the teachers are all encouraging and enthusiastic!

The workouts are great and I like the variety across the 5 types

The community is welcoming, encouraging and supportive. I am sticking to a workout routine for the first time in my adult life and Pure Barre has changed the way I think about fitness!

I like the friendly folks, students and teachers alike, and the fact that instructors will support students who modify the positions to fit their bodies. I also like the variety of classes.

I am an original member of Pure Barre from the very first week that the studio opened, so I've seen many changes in managers & teachers This current group, with Elena as manager, is strong, enthusiastic, supportive & encouraging One lack, which has been the case so often, retail continues to be lacking

I love the adaptability of it. Anyone can take class, it doesn't matter how flexible you are or how strong you are because every move has its own level of difficulty.

Keep the studio clean, well vaccuumed each day.

The studio is full of folks who accept each other no matter what their bodies are like and who encourage each other. The classes are challenging but not jarring. The instructors give helpful cues and adjustments. It's great.

It's fun to come to class so it helps me meet my fitness goals with less struggle. The workouts are effective and efficient and the variety of classes suits me.

Community

There have been a few issues. The studios need to make up rules on a whim without thinking how they impact long term clients, like taking away mobile check ins. The total lack of new and cute merch. The scedule not taking into account when people need to take classes. Some teachers refusel to go above and beyond to celebrate long time clients. Some teachers desire to scold people. When I first joined the studio there was a real sense of community. That community has continued despite the studio and its actions not because of it. I keep my membership to see friends not because the studio does anything I find kind or inclusive. Its been sad how much it seems to have fallen apart.

I would recommend Pure Barre but not necessarily the Alexandria location. The instructors are excellent but I've been increasingly disappointed with management and their (lack of) customer service skills, particularly one person. The new manager is trying I believe, but those who have been long time customers at this location have been treated rudely and unprofessionally. I still plan on staying at this location because of the instructors and the friends I have made at the studio. Bottom line is that I would not recommend it to someone who is new to Pure Barre as the level of customer engagement and professionalism is pretty low.

Although I generally LOVE Pure Barre & my community of friends there, recent months, the quality of the studio has gone downhill. We've not had a newsletter the past 3mos, no new merchandise, including great selling holiday merchandise, social media postings are sparse 8am classic instructor, herself, has late cancelled, class cancelled totally, 4 times in 2mos, or last minute sub for the teacher As a founding member, it pains me to see these changes & then to report them here, I feel strongly that we can regain the positive atmosphere we've had in the past, but only by being honest in this survey

I love PURE BARRE, for me, doing 50-minutes of Aligned, Classic, or Engage is my favorites. I try to go every day, but during this wintertime, if I don't get to go to the 5:30 pm class, it's because I am getting out of the office after 4:30-5:00 pm - too late for me. Besides, I have been with a cold for almost two weeks, and have been working in the office until 4:30-5:00 pm The instructors are excellent, and I like that they are in front of the class checking each one if we are doing well.

Lower prices
