Great classes and instructors! Perfect full body workout that includes strength training, core work and so much more! I love it!
I truly enjoy the instructors, the class formats are diverse and challenging, and the studio is cozy and inviting.
I love Pure Barre - the classes and instructors are wonderful! My only suggestion is a little more AC in the morning when it is humid out especially now that it is Summer : )
Since new ownership, I have noticed the following that I feel have changed and prevent me from making it a 10. 1. The cleanliness of the studio. I have found hair on the carpet multiple times where it looked like it had not been vacuumed in a few days and streaks on the mirror where it looks like they are not using the right product or using it carelessly. 2. Milestones celebrations and challenge completed recognition have been neglected. An email or announcement didn't even go out for March challenge completers and the gift was 3 months later. A little recognition would of been a nice reward. Also early milestones are celebrated but it use to be a lot more celebrations for big later milestones. For example balloons, special playlists, social media shoutouts. Now it's like you're lucky if the teacher remembers to give you a shout out and you quietly pick up your socks on the way out. 3. The water situation, which has been fixed now, but even if you don't continue with the flavor water, there should always be filtered water available and it's irresponsible to not have it available with the cost of membership. 4. Ending on a positive, the teachers are incredible and please do all you can to keep them and not lose anymore.
New ownership has made the vibe more corporate feeling/influencer focused. Feels like someone just looking to make buckets of money off every studio in Atlanta rather than a neighborhood specific feel. Previously could count on either a noon or 4:30 pm Monday Define which seems to have disappeared in recent weeks in favor of more Classics. Would still recommend only because this is the only workout I actually enjoy and will complete.
Cap classes at a lower limit (on some days it is WAY to crowded - probably 2 people too much) Have more Classic Classes For annual members, allow them to accidentally skip 2 classes/year without being charged
I'm a little disappointed in the fact that I did the Barre Stronger challenge in 30 days and the Inman park location did nothing to recognize it or any of the other challenge completers. Other locations like Va Highlands gave their members a gift for accomplishing the challenge. This goes a long way in making members, especially unlimited members feel valued. I also did this after moving to the area very recently so it was very discouraging to not be acknowledged. Other Pure Barre locations I have gone to at always acknowledged those who did the challenges. Overall this has been disappointing and I've been wondering if maybe this location isn't the right one for me.
Low impact full body workout!
Less define and more of the 30-45 minute classes please!
the workout and results
I've always had gym and workout class anxiety, and Pure Barre is the first place I've found that doesn't feel like that. The instructors at Inman Park are so welcoming and personable and genuinely take the time to get to know their clients/students. Not only is the workout itself a fantastic, low impact session that tackles my full body with minimal equipment, but I feel like I learn how to exercise and stretch completely new muscle groups. The instructors also give great guidance during classes to ensure you're using good form while allowing the session to be flexible and tailored to your individual capabilities. I've been going to Pure Barre Inman Park once every 1-2 weeks for about 6 months now, and it already feels like a key part of my routine. I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
The teachers and the community!
I really love the instructors -- I feel like they are committed to helping me do my best <3
The instructors and structure of classes
Please more short classes (30-45 minutes) and Empower classes and less define :)
Consistency and community.
I have been going to Pure Barre in Inman Park for 3 years. I love every class and the community! If you need a new workout or looking for a motivating group of individuals, this studio is one of the best.
Love the people, the overall vibe and of course, all of the workouts.
