Great consistent workout!
The workout, the community and the ease of scheduling and access.
I like the app, the community of friends that I get to attend class with, and the positive instructors! I appreciate 5:30am weekday classes because I could t attend M-F otherwise due to my work schedule!
1. Music is SO loud can't hear the instructor (Meredith Buckhead)- can we just have it set at a certain volume? 2. I HATE being charged $20 if I cancel or can't come - I get the 4 hour rule- but I've already paid for the visit- just take it away from me. These classes are often jam packed as it is (another negative) And it's difficult to communicate with anyone on why charges are being added and Madeline has been unhelpful and rude
The community and the workout variety.
New instructors, while very nice, are not improving. Hannah teaches long draggy low energy classes much longer than 50 minutes. Jess doesn't seem prepared/has trouble getting through the choreography. Luckily we can draw on excellent instructors who (with the exception of Andrew and Amberly) are based mostly at other studios in the Martin district. I wish there was a way to have more consistency in instructors especially since the new instructors often teach all weekend.
I have been a member of this Pure Barre studio for about 5 years, and I've absolutely loved it! I enjoy the community of members from the area. I've been happy with the instructors I've taken class with lately; they are encouraging, challenging and good with pacing. I also appreciate still seeing some familiar faces who were there with the previous owner as well. I I would really love to see more Define classes on the schedule. I attend Classic and Reform as well, but Define is my favorite format and it feels like the best workout to me. I'd love to see this offered more in the afternoon/evening and in the 8am slot.
The instructors are great and the classes are challenging!
It's in my neighborhood, so going to classes 3-5 times a week is easy. Plus, they offer several different times per day, so that's also easy to fit into my schedule. All the classes and teachers are great, it's quickly become my regular workout for the last five years.
More consistently in instructors. The studio feels more like a factory now and has lost its personal touch.
The quality of new instructors needs to be improved. Especially since they are teaching on weekends when the classes are most in demand and full. Also, there needs to be more variety on classes. Too many of the classes are classic. Finally, the classes are overbooked on the weekends and uncomfortable. This is particularly annoying when people are allowed to come into class after it starts and squeeze themselves in where there is no room, disrupting other students.
The variety of classes. They always challenge me.
I feel stronger. I could never work this hard on my own. The staff is knowledgeable and responsive. Lots of daily options and variety each week.
The classic workout that is so consistent in terms of working all areas and being a strong work out, plus ability to do Define for muscle and bone mass, and Align for balance and meditation. I love the combo of those 3. I love the community feel, the positive energy of the teachers and classes, hands on corrections, and the music especially when it's a theme
Everything! The hardest and best workout I could ever wish for. The nicest community I ever wanted to be a part of. And I love every single Instructor!
love this studio-- the teachers are great! helpful and challenging.. and the community is special.
Used to be a great studio. Feeling rather corporate now. Instructors can't even change a light setting so we work out in the dark because "corporate says so". No one even thinks through the fact that the new all red lights make red and gray tunes indistinguishable. Instructors now rotate through so fast you can't even remember their names. They can't get to know you. It's always some new face from east Cobb or Inman park. We used to have our own group of great instructors⦠maybe the one for. East Cobb is fine, but who knows if or when she will be back. It does not support building a community.
I love the VaHi Pure Barre community. All the teachers are great (special shoutout to Andrew)! Appreciate the variety of class types and class times.
You really get a good full body work out Love it
The instructors are so welcoming and encouraging just wish they offered define more nights during the week like they did in the winter!
the variety of class offerings and instructors
Friends group mentality and support while working out
Classes are always full so I have to book far in advance The fines are excessive and rigid. I have to book far in advance for classes with no option to book closer to time when I know I can make it from work. Several instructors are new and poorly trained and the workouts just aren't as effective. The classes I want aren't offered at the times I can go.
VAHI studio is incredible...clean, friendly excellent teachers. I love Andrew who manages the studio. He is always there with a warm hello and is also an excellent teacher!!
The community! It is such a warm and welcoming place and the staff are all so friendly.
