Vacuum the studio daily and keep the mirrors clean. Make repairs in a timely manner. No one wants to workout in a room without A/C. At least have a fanthat properly circulates the air.
Every class is different, so it keeps working out exciting. The staff is so kind to try to remember my name and greet me. The instructors are so knowledgeable, walking around to help me shift my posture for the best workout. I also love that the other women in the class don't seem to be there to show off cute outfits, we're all there to sweat and feel the burn. I can only manage to make it to a class about twice a week, but after only 6 weeks and a dozen classes, I've already lost inches around my waist, and my arms and thighs look more toned.
I love how encouraging the instructors and longtime members are to the newer ones.
I love the community, the variation in the exercises, and the people working at the studio!
Clean carpets more often and studio regularly. Offer a benefit to monthly challenges, most recent one months ago had no finisher class/socks/etc. Better pure barre merch as it would beenfiit studio and members.
Would like more variation in class formats on weekday evenings. It also seems like there has been frequent turnover of good instructors. It would also be nice if the floors were vacuumed more frequently to promote a cleaner environment
I like the technique. It's extremely important to keep Pure Barre pure to its origins. It needs to remain a leader in a unique workout or it will just blend and become the same as any other workout.
All the pure barre instructors are amazing including the front desk. What's disappointed me is the management of the studio. I pay unlimited to have access to book 45 days in advance as my schedule is always busy but as of lately schedules are only posted for 30 days at a time and there's been times were the schedule is posted 3 days before the end of the month. Also, the cleanliness and the equipment is starting to fall apart for example the weights are all peeling.
Even tho I read bad reviews of Pure Barre Brea on Yelp, I decided to try them and I'm not regretting. I'm on my class 40th and I'm a stronger and happier person. I recommend it 100% I already brought my sister and 3 friends. We love it!
No disappointment just neutral. I've invited friends in the past and I've just learned it's not a workout format for everyone
There are a lot of instructors that are really great. I love Kellie specifically. I like that they cracked your form and help you get better at it. I also like the Pure bar community and when we do specific challenges even ones outside of the national challenges. I do wish Pure Baar was a little more inclusive to people that are not dancers or a size 0 generally they only have clothes for people that are smalls and mediums, and there is very rarely in Excel and never a double XL.
I love that Pure Barre is a full-body workout and that there are different formats. I especially love the Define and Empower formats. I love that the instructors are well-versed in the exercises they are teaching and correct you if you are doing something wrong. And I especially love that Pure Barre is such a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Instructors are very friendly and helpful especially for first timers like myself!
The studio has felt lackluster in need of an infusion of energy. Classes are fluctuating, the studio needs a facelift, desperate for a new microphone!
It's a full body workout that's flexible - so it's great for everyone (young, old, fit & just starting to get fit) ððªð½ The instructors are helpful & so nice. Also, you meet & become friends with the people you exercise with - everyone is very social !!
It would be great if the place got spruced up a bit. New paint, better bathroom that flushes properly, weights that are not losing their foam covering. The price point for this studio is high, but the facility is worn down.
As a beginner, I didn't find the instruction helpful enough. I know there is a learning curve but I always felt confused and behind. The microphones make it difficult to hear because the instructors voices get muffled and I cannot understand almost anything they're saying. I also think the atmosphere in the workout room terrible. The room you walk into is beautiful with great lighting. Then you walk into this dark, kind of dirty room. There is no warmth or welcoming feeling at all in there. It looks like it hasn't had new carpet, paint or new mats in the 10 years they've been open. I have not enjoyed the experience at all.
I've really enjoyed coming here. Everyone at the studio is so nice and I get a great workout.
