The thing I like most is the variety of classes and routines. I also enjoy the community of people!
I love how Pure Barre makes me feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. The classes are challenging but enjoyable, and the instructors are always encouraging and supportive. I especially love the variety of classes and how I can continue improving without putting too much stress on my body. I recently completed my 100th class, and I'm excited to keep going
The variety of workouts The amazing instructors The fabulous community
I am not happy with the lot of changes with instructors and all I see is only classic class format most of the time.. not happy. I can't even cancel my membership so I feel stuck
Still no new permanent teachers who we can build relationships with and that offer a consistent variety of classes. Kim does a fantastic job-so grateful she has stuck around. Nicole, too, but she can only teach on a limited basis. Love the subs Marchette and Jourdan, but we are not their home studio so we typically get them only once a week (sometimes Jourdan is there twice). I noticed this week that some of the weights are beginning to peel (black pieces of rubber falling on me when I'm using them). Would love to see some regular teachers who can teach a variety of classes a few times a week so we can build back our community there.
I've been a longtime Pure Barre member, and it has honestly been disappointing to watch what has happened at our studio over the past year. There has been a significant amount of turnover among instructors, and while I appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere, many of the newer instructors seem very inexperienced. Classes often feel choppy and less polished than they once were. Several of the new instructors are also already talking about leaving for college or starting high school in the fall, which makes the studio feel like it has become a revolving door rather than the stable community it used to be. One of the things I loved most about Pure Barre was the consistency, professionalism, and sense of community. Unfortunately, that atmosphere feels like it has diminished. I'm planning to give it a few more months in the hope that things improve, but at this point I'm not feeling very optimistic. Another example that has hurt morale was the Fall 2025 Challenge. Many members completed the challenge after being told there would be a reward. When no reward was received, several members asked about it in January and were told that socks had been ordered but there had been a delay and they would still be distributed. It is now July 2026, and nothing has been provided. While the socks themselves aren't the issue, following through on commitments is. Small promises like that matter because they build trust with loyal members. I truly want this studio to succeed, which is why I'm sharing this feedback. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, because many longtime members have noticed these changes and miss the culture that made this studio special.
I like the class format and I like low intensity workout. I feel stronger each day.
Great toning exercises for women of all ages.
It's a great work out targeting all the right areas! You feel strong after class!
It's not the same place/community I joined 5 years ago. All of the regular teachers have left, along with many of the members. I'm staying here for now because of my friends there, but if things don't improve significantly, i will look to go to another Pure Barre.
0 Instructors with experience and are being pulled from another studio. The owner of Pure Barre Cumming owns 4 studios. Little effort to enhance the business and retain clients.
I like the predictable order of exercise groupings in the classic classes. I also like the new class formats, though my preference is with Classic.
I am a big fan if pure barre and have really been in love with it in the past! But I do feel that the class schedule has been quite inconsistent and the instructors have change lately. I love that pure barre offers the different variations of classes such as Align and Define. But for the past several months those classes have hardly been on the schedule. Maybe once or twice a week at the most. This is disappointing as Define is one of my favorite classes! It would be nice to have some consistency with the schedule so that members can plan their week and get all the styles of classes in for a well rounded fitness routine. I also have been sad to see some of my favorite instructors hardy on the schedule as well. Those changes combined have had me considering a change in membership.
Teachers and class options.
Poor management. Lots of teachers have left as well as regular attendees.Poor class selection especially for the afternoon. Makes me sad as I've been going there for several years.
The class schedule is all over the place. There's not enough variety especially for the classes held on Saturday and Sunday. They normally seem to be the same and usually are classic classes. I'm glad I saw someone come in and clean the studio a couple of weeks ago. It does seem cleaner. But the workout room could definitely use an update. I have completed a couple of challenges in the past year and I have yet to receive an award as promised.
The variety of exercises The community of welcoming clients The value for what you receive
I have been at PBC for 11 years now and I still love it a great workout for all ages, great community and a great way to spend my mornings.
Great place to workout. Friendly staff and trainers.
It is a challenging workout that pushes me for more than I would do on my own. Every workout leaves me aware of a new set of muscles that I have worked, and I can feel myself getting stronger.
Community, empowering strong women!
