More classic classes at the 5:30 hour! I haven't taken a classic class in months due to 5:30 being the only time I can go and Kirkland being the studio that makes the most sense. There's been too much align on the schedule.
I love the community and feel there! Everyone is so nice, supportive and welcoming. I also love how there's a variety of different people - age, body type, experience level. I don't feel so self-conscious of those things.
Friendly stuff and committed instructors make great classes
I love how supportive and fun these classes are. They are customizable for your ability and skill level, but also give you opportunities to challenge yourself. The teachers are always positive, supportive and just make you want to come back.
I love my time at Pure Barre! It's a great workout and the variety of class formats means I can move my body consistently while also meeting it where it's at on any given day. I find the schedule consistency has changed a lot in recent months, which can make fitting in classes difficult. In particular, no morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays feels like a real hit to the schedule. There has also been a lot of teacher turnover lately, though I'm hopeful about some of the new instructors rolling into classes. Cara, Megan, Nicole, and Katy and excellent and I always prefer to get into one of their classes when I can!
The challenge
I like the variety of classes and feel the coaches are well trained. My only dissatisfaction is that there are not early morning classes at the Totem Lake Pure Barre on Tuesday and Thursdays until 9:45 which is too late in the day for me.
All of it
Recent schedule changes have made it hard for me to attend. It's hard when my regular weekly class changes. Always appreciate consistency in scheduling. But, classes and instructors are fantastic.
Excellent instructors, very effective workouts, choreography is changed regularly, modifications are available when needed, and it's a supportive environment.
Schedule is bad and the best teachers leave.
Absolutely everything
Clean, good teachers, offers define class
I like the positive energy, friendly and enthusiastic teaching and high quality step by step directions
It's an amazing workout I can actually stick with, the instructors are super knowledgeable, and it feels like a community!
Pure Barre has been an excellent addition to my fitness routine. It has helped me improve my flexibility and balance.
The variety of classes, the instructors are all fantastic & the community are all reasons that I love Pure Barre!
The variety of class formats offered, and the price.
I love the versatility and the challenge of the workouts! I love the combination of weight training and body weight resistance, along with stretching and strength training! It is a super positive setting where you get a super great workout
Well trained coaches. They work with you so you get the most out of the workout. A variety of different classes and a choice of class times.
The classes, instructors and positive energy!
Supportive community
Great core workout, good, helpful teachers.
Love the teachers, welcoming environment and always feel great after a class
It's The best workout
The amount of available classes throughout the day and evening. The variety of types of classes. The results on my body and mind, to stronger, toned and flexibility. Encouragement and form guidance from the instructor.
Consistent, great instructors, and good work out!!!
I've been a member for over a year and Barre has genuinely changed my life in more ways than I can even recognize. I came to barre right after finishing physical therapy for injuries to both my knees and ankles. I literally walked from the PT clinic to my first trial class the same day. I knew repairing an injury was only part of the work; building strength back was the next step. At first, a push-up was totally out of reach and lunges were impossible. One year later, I can hold a 90-second plank and do a real push-up. I didn't think that was possible when I first walked through the door. What sets barre apart from Pilates or other instructor-led workouts is the real commitment to accommodations. Every instructor found lower-impact alternatives for me without ever making me feel like I was doing less, just something that worked better for my body. Movement feels like a core part of the workout, not something you have to earn first. The four format options are a huge deal for me, especially as a woman. Being able to choose Align during the phases of my menstrual cycle when my energy is lower, and then switch to Define or Empower when I have more to give, means I can show up regularly without fighting against my body. I haven't found anything else like that. Barre's focus on the trunk, hips, knees, and ankles is something I really value, especially as I get older. Things like balancing on one leg while tucking and using weights work all those small stabilizing muscles that are so important for functional movement long-term. I wouldn't naturally gravitate toward those movements on my own, but they're exactly what I needed and I'll keep coming back for them.ââââââââââââââââ
Well trained and friendly instructors. You can modify an exercise needed and the instructors will help you get the most out of each movement. Each instructor has the option of using several different movements to achieve the result so the routines are never monotonous. Also, there are about 5 different class types to choose from...each focusing on specific ways to tone your body. The large mirrors help you see the correct way to position your body. The environment is clean and comfortable. The program has a lot of different ways to keep you motivated. So much more to expound on but over all it is a great way to keep up or increase your body strength, flexibility and balance.
Builds strength and endurance friendly staff Clean Effective
The community and the work-out impact!
Jackie and a few instructors. The music, upbeat encouragement and kindness to help with my form is really helpful. I like Define best. I can challenge myself with the support of other women around.
Love the workouts, define is my favorite, can tell I'm getting stronger!
Classes are fun, motivational and are a key component of my overall wellness. Never loved exercise until Pure Bare!
Less crowded studio - Kirkland can get very packed, less overbooking perhaps? Also, more Define classes - those are my favorite but hard to get in without booking well in advance. I'd also like to see the addition of the Redmond studio to the options.
