I have been taking classes since 2019. There is never a class that i have taken that i thought was easy.. Pure Barre always challenges me and allows me to become stronger with every class.
One of the reasons I decided to try this particular barre studio is because it's close to my home so I can easily get to the studio. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging which keeps me coming back.
The community and the staff are amazing. I love that the class formats continue to change and offer a wide range of abilities to take classes and feel challenged.
The studio is often stuffy with no air circulating. This past week although cooler outside the studio has been very hot and the a/c not on. It would be great to have ceiling fans like they have at the Highlands Ranch PB
I love the variety of classes! It's always challenging & led by great instructors.
I love the teachers, the feedback and the atmosphere. I also love that you can do it at any age!
It's been a great experience so far! It's definitely on the pricier side, but you can get a lot of each class. I have many injuries so it's been a great guided class as I get back to moving!
Great skilled instructors who are friendly to all!
It would be greatly appreciated if new members were given a better introduction to the studio, what to expect during class, how much space one will need to do the workout as well as how much space others taking the class will need so no one has to compromise form in an already expensive class, and clearly some newer people need to be told they are responsible for getting their own equipment and where to set up for class. I have seen several instances of newer faces coming in taking someone else's equipment, moving someone else's equipment, creating uncomfortable situations for myself and others. I would like to give newer faces the benefit of the doubt that they were simply unaware, but given the rudeness of the comments, facial expressions, tone, general attitude and repetitiveness of such behaviors, these instances have been 100% intentional. Granted, one cannot hold another person accountable for ugly behavior, but perhaps putting in more of an effort to verbally communicate friendly barre etiquette prior to class beginning would help. PBL used to be a very welcoming and inviting safe place, a home away from home, I would love for the current studio to return to that environment and make members feel wanted and appreciated instead of being dismissed, ignored, and gaslit for providing requested feedback. It would also be great if teachers were consistently encouraged to provide hands-on corrections.
It's helped me find a new confidence in my body. It feels like it's designed to work well with a woman's body. I'm hyper mobile and so the emphasis on strength and stabilized muscles is great. I appreciate that it is challenging but possible, and has built in systems to help me stay steady in attendance.
Pure Barre offers a variety of class types that keep you engaged and motivated. The teachers are great in how they motivate you and ensure that you are following the right technique. I've taken pure barre classes for several years and it has helped me physically improve. The community is great.
Saturday and Sunday mornings are incredibly frustrating with your schedule. Having Define at 10:30 in the morning on Saturday as the only option for the weekend is really frustrating. I would really appreciate if you guys took a good look at the schedule when it comes to morning, define classes. :(
The class types and the community of members
More consistency with the room temperature. Some days it's a sauna. Cool is better. Shampoo the carpet. Teachers are great. So happy to see Emily back
Evening classes, workout differentiation, the teachers, especially but not limited to Nicole, Jenna, and Emily.
There is not a single teacher who doesn't want you to be the best version of yourself in class. The studio environment is always so welcoming and taking a class is a highlight of my day every time.
I love everything about Barre. Every class is such a great workout and everyone is so friendly and motivating :)
Everything!
The teachers are motivating and provide helpful support ensuring you are getting the most from the class and providing modifications when necessary. The classes target muscles throughout your body. The variety of classes offered is great as it allows you to choose what is best or needed for yourself.
I like that it feels like a community and it's very supportive. All the staff are friendly and engaging. It's been a long time since I felt that from a gym. I also love the workouts. They are very challenging but safe as far as impact goes. I feel like the workouts focus a lot on stability which is very helpful if you have joint pain. I also like that there is a somewhat predictable flow to the workouts that allow me to focus on my form and push myself.
I love PBL! The staff is amazing, but I would really enjoy if we had more of the fun events we used to have ( Olympics, bingo, wine nights, etc ) I would also love to see the return of more hands on corrections.
Keep the studio cooler
I love the variety of classes and the instructors!
Great classes with great instructors!
I love the way I feel so accomplished and empowered every time I take a class! The love all the different movements, targeting different muscles in my body. The instructors are always so positive and motivating and keep the energy up! My favorite time of the week is my Pure Barre time
Lately, the classes have been overcrowded leaving members very little room to have an enjoyable workout with ALL of the required equipment. Several classes I have been in this year, the studio runs out of balls and tubes. The tubes are clearly stretched out and many are in need of replacement. With the high cost of being a member, one would think the equipment would be top notch and available to use during the classes. Bring back hands-on corrections. Not only is it crucial for proper form, but it is very motivating. It would be greatly appreciated if studio etiquette could be addressed. Again, several classes this year have ruined the bliss of past workouts due to people not understanding how to behave and understand the spacing needed to fully extend during exercises. Modifying one's own workout due to limited space should not be the norm. The lack of communication from ownership/management could be improved. I know of several people who have not received replies or even acknowledgement to recent issues that have have come up. It is frankly disappointing and has many members reconsidering continuing our Pure Barre eras.
I broke my leg and could not participate in classes. I paused my membership and was told they could only pause it for three months. It actually took me four months to recover. I was charged for a month that I was not medically cleared to do the workout. I spoke to the front desk person at the location I attend and was told "too bad, so sad", there was nothing the studio was willing to do. I am not looking for a refund, but a few extra class credits for the month. I am a long term customer and find it incredibly frustrating that the studio is not willing to work with meâ¦
Different class types and how I feel after any of the classes
So good for you at any sge
Pure Barre provides great workouts. They offer a variety of class formats that all allow you to work your full body. The three things that I like the most are the variety of classes, the community and how all classes strengthen your core. The community includes the class participants, the teachers and the desk staff. Everyone is friendly and motivates each other. As you age, the importance of core strength is key. Another great aspect of Pure Barre is that you can easily modify exercises for your individual needs such as injuries. The teachers will offer modifications throughout the classes and they are also great cheerleaders and motivators. Ive been taking Pure Barre for several years and enjoy it being a regular part of my exercise routine.
I just love it! Love the teachers, the workouts, the community.
I've never been a person who enjoyed group exercise classes or exercising for that matter. I joined Pure Barre after a friend spoke so highly of it. I'm almost a year in and love going to class. The instructors and front desk staff are excellent! I appreciate the variety of class types and times. I feel stronger, some of the pain issues I had are significantly better, and I love seeing all the friendly faces in class. I'm looking forward to working harder in 2026.
