I like the supportive and encouraging environment with the instructors and other participants. The workouts can also be challenging
The owner, the instructors and my fellow Bar enthusiasts â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Challenging and rewarding workout, great instructors, clean studio, convenient class schedule
The instructors are always positive. I love the class times. I love my friends that are in the classes. We are a small community of positive people.
The studio is using worn out equipment. The type of weights, mats and balls used by other PB studios 10 years ago are still being used in Montclair. Weight materials are torn. This studio could use a total reset.
Love the Define classes!
All instructors are great and management is very engaged and engaging
Working out in a group is more motivating than working out alone. Also, Pure Barre programs work out muscles I never considered before and is very helpful,
I love pure barre! I just wish that they offered more times that were flexible to a work schedule. I can only go 1-2x a week because of that!
Amazing classes and trainers that feel like an extended family â¤ï¸.
Great teachers great classes. Wish they had more 7:30 classes
close by and regular community. no surprises. Fast in and out. good instructors with some pep. I prefer the motivational style over the quiet "dance" like altenatives. Music helps keep me going
I love the work out . I feel like I've accomplished so much after a pure barre class and I feel great !
The different class structures. The sense of accomplishment after completing milestones or achieving your weekly goal of classes
The instructors are encouraging as well as connecting with the other members
I like the teacher's engagement and very consistent to all Pure barres I ve been before. Loved the event at year end and the opportunity to connect with teachers and other members off-the-barre. One improvement could be fixing the water filter. The weights also need some fixing of the sleeves as most are peeling off. Otherwise love it all.
It's the perfect exercise for me at my age and schedule
I really enjoy the form of exercise
I feel there could be a bit more of a hands on approach for people who are new to this group exercise form. The instructors are clearly experts and so adept at this platform, it's really really inspiring. I have just started and as someone with sensory challenges, I do get overstimulated - but also a bit overloaded - mostly with what to do with my body or how to position it so that I'm not hurting myself in an exercise. I think sometimes the classes feel like they go a bit on auto-pilot via the instructors and I think newer people might need more positional cuing to help guide them, especially as it is such a new environment. For me, as I have an old shoulder injury - I intuitively know how to adjust or protect my shoulder - but for someone who is new to the form and has no body awareness, or mechanics - it can feel discouraging if no-one is there to cue them in the middle of a new workout environment.
