I would love more afternoon classes!
Instructors very engaged-friendly & attentive to assist with corrections as clients execute exercises. Consistency with expectations for clean studio & classes commencing on time.
I love my local Pure Barre, but there are easy ways to improve, and difficult ways to improve. It's easy to change up the music a bit. We seem to hear the same playlists rather frequently and it would be nice to have an occasional "retro" playlist, which I know are out there from attending other studios. Keeping and using exciting and fun teachers is really important, and I think our studio is trying really hard to do this. I appreciate all that our teachers and owner are doing to help make our PB studio the best.
My studio on Magazine Street is wonderful! The teachers really care about my progress and make each class interesting. I like that class is never the same twice and that the playlists keep it interesting.
Enjoy the classes and environment. Cindy F is my favorite but also enjoy Britt!
Routines are for all ages and levels. Instructors are extremely helpful to ensure proper form and encouraging.
Pure Barre is low impact and doesn't use a lot of equipment. It's not intimidating as a person who hasn't gone to the gym or played organized sports and is trying to get into working out. I feel stronger and more confident. Pure Barre New Orleans is really communicative and helpful, and was flexible with my classes when I was injured, and host fun events and ways to get involved. The teachers and front desk employees remember who I am.
Positive vibs in clean studio Wonderful staff Exercises Effective Good Communications
Pure Barre is the single best class in the city! It's great to core, resistance, building up key muscles and balance and looking and feeling good.
I've been going to Pure Barre regularly for 15 years. I love that I feel great after class, both physically and mentally. Our studio has a positive fun community. Pure Barre improves my strength and balance. The fact that my clothes fit better when I attend regularly is a bonus. I'm 67 and I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life because of Pure Barre. Love it!
I don't like being touched or spoken to by the teacher. I want to show up and try my best, not be told how I am doing it wrong in front of a large group. It is embarrassing. I also feel targeted because I am being corrected yet I see other women doing the same or worse, and nothing is said to them. And I can't state enough how I do not want to be touched. Also, if the class is 50 minutes, it needs to be 50 minutes. Not 55, or 53, or 51. 50. Finally, music makes all the difference. I like Cindy's classes mostly because I can sing along to the music and it makes the experience much more enjoyable. Other classes have very pounding, overstimulation "songs" that are more like loud beats being played over and over.
I love the community!! The instructors remember what I told them the last class and ask follow up questions. They are flexible and accommodating to different abilities.
Keep working to engage more high energy, teachers who are excited about the classes.
Not only is it a great workout but the studio has a fantastic sense of community.
Oh, my gosh, I love Pure Barre. The girls know my name (but I need to know theirs.) They make me feel like a loved sister. I could not be happier with how nice everyone is. Then there is the Pure Barre workout. It kicks my butt! And that is exactly what I signed up for. It is the BEST!!!!
define classes are great!
