I think this place is so Dirty and needs upgrades.
Classes for my strength & balance in my later years are very helpful!
Already recommended to several friends & family. Lovely grounds - clean facilities- plenty good fun for whole family. A beautiful healthy place with friendly staff
We've been members for many years and like the exercise equipment, pickleball, and tennis along with convenient location for us.
We’ve been with you for 15 years and will miss our swimming buddies and instructors when we move away. Keep up the great work. Water Aerobics & Joilynn & Karalynn are the best. If it wasn’t for Joilynn being so great, we almost have left before it became a YMCA.
Friendly
We felt welcome and were greeted and helped when we came in. There is so much to do.
Love the equipment, environment, and staff!
Great facility and very good classes. I especially like the Water Class "Splash & Tone". Karalynn is a wonderful instructor.
Conveniently located. Plenty of exercise equipment. I am enjoying the Senior Lift class with Kevin as is my wife. Very friendly staff.
Family friendly. Awesome staff. Caring.
It’s nearly impossible to get into classes with the current system set up. I cannot always watch the clock 7 days before a class and get into a class the minute it opens. if I miss 10 minutes or a day the class and waiting list is full. Eg chair and TRX classes. I’ve been a member of Rollingwood over 20 years and I have never had these issues. You need more classes. Thinking about going elsewhere with more flexibility but I don’t want to!
I have been a member since 1999. Even though I only play tennis, I enjoy the club.
I love the people and community and vibe. It's special. But the obvious deferred maintenance can be off-putting. There have been some cleanliness issues inside as well (work out areas) but that seems to getting better!
My favorite aqua fitness class - aqua zumba on Sundays. The outdoor pool area is nice too.
There's a good amount of senior programming/classes that I really like and they are well attended. Members are welcoming and trainers are great.
Has Tennis and Pickleball facilities.
For the 109th time, there are not enough classes in the early morning for working people. Also, not enough Reformer classes.
Good 'vibe' friendly staff and members, not fancy but has everything needed, good and plentiful group exercise opportunities.
Clean facility and everything someone would want
Friendly staff, good classes, rarely crowded, clean
Indoor and outdoor pools
I’ve been a member of the Y at Rollingwood since it started as the owner. I was an original member when it opened 50 years ago. I’ve contributed extra money yearly during the giving campaign. In the last few years I witnessed the decline of the facilities and am considering leaving. From the tarp on the roof, to the dirty spa in in indoor pool the the condition of the tennis courts I don’t think you have the resources and staff to operate the facility. This makes me sad since I’ve met so many nice people and have such fond memories of activities at Rollingwood.

There are many good aspects at Rollingwood: the staff, the variety of activities, and the beautiful location. However, the lengthy time to repair items and parts of the facility is what keeps me from a higher rating.
You need more classes for seniors. Beginning balance and chair yoga are filled and the waiting list is also filled a week ahead. Come on.
I already have invited two of them and they signed up and love it too. My favorite is the water aerobics, but I use the machines too.
Great classes, variety of classes, wonderful front desk staff and fabulous encouraging instructors. I hear the trainers are wonderful too. Pool facilities are great, both inside and outside. The workout spaces are well organized and have a variety of equipment to choose from.
I’d rate it a 10 but I think the pool use issue at Rollingwood should be addressed. I think that the outdoor pool use by lap swimmers should be revised. Currently there is no time limit on lap swimmers using a lane in the outdoor pool. Some have occupied a lane swimming laps for more than an hour. Since the number of lanes in the outdoor pool are limited and should be available to all who wish to use the pool, I think a reasonable time limit of 60 minutes per individual sessions. Lifeguards could politely ask that swimmers exceeding the 60 minutes time limit wrap up their session. Signs posting the rule at the check-in desk and around the pool deck could be helpful in reminding people of the time limit. An email notice could be sent to Y members in advance of its effective date notifying all of the time limit. That way, more members who would like to use the lap lane for swimming could be accommodated. Sign posting has worked to prevent those using handicap parking spaces w/o a handicap plate or placard have been effective since put into use and I compliment staff on making that important change. Please consider this recommendation. Thank you
Friendly staff, good availability in the pools, hot tubs are a nice perk
The exercise groups that are relevant to me are strength training and Pilates classes that you are charging for. I’ve been a member for a few years and it’s been difficult to navigate a way to have someone set up an exercise program for with the weight machines. In general, I have found that, while the pools and cleanliness of the gym are great, it’s difficult to use.
I like the homey atmosphere and surrounding nature.
Very helpful staff.
Water aerobice in the indoor pool is great. Thank you.
offer my classes for seniors
Dangerous bathroom situations. Some showers are without individual grab bars and nonslip mats, which should be across entire floor in poolside bathrooms especially. Poor bathroom repairs
I loved the class I took and the people I met. It’s a very relaxed club with plenty of options
I think of all the instructors since they're such a broad range of talent and personalities that an incoming member will be most likely to find several people that they like and want to work with, and when that works out, it is quite a joy
It’s a very friendly place and I feel very comfortable attending classes here. The front desk staff and the instructors are very welcoming.
I have had a transformative experience at our Rollingwood YMCA. The classes have been so helpful and the instructors are great. Joi Lynn who teaches water aerobics for arthritis has been especially wonderful. Also Brian and Paula. I am getting ready for a total knee replacement in 3 months and my surgeon and PT say I am ahead in progress since I have been taking seated classes and water classes for over a year now. I am thankful for your very kind and respectful staff.
Thank you!
Facility is clean, nice, well-stocked. The pools are nice. Great employees. But I don't find the classes I want. The Zumba classes are not good, or challenging, and there aren't enough of them. There aren't many evening or weekend classes I can take, and for me, the classes are the main reason I join a gym.
Clean facility, good equipment and friendly environment
Great classes! Aqua class with Karalynn is fantastic! Other aqua classes could be better if teacher was not in Pool and did instructions up on the deck. Much easier to follow, but all classes are excellent
On the first floor, you have a serious bathroom issue. One broken in bathroom for weeks, which has no soap in the shower and a horrible toilet seat. The other bathroom is locked 80% of the time when the cleaner is there we have no toilet on the first floor. The conversion of family bathrooms was a bad idea. We need more toilet toilets as far as recommending it to people, I think people know what they want and they’ll find it on their own. It just needs to be clean and the people that work there need to be friendly and know the programs. The other thing is when you cancel the pool indoor outdoor you need to give us a heads up.
I have recommended Rollingwood to several individuals already. I really enjoy the gym setup and my trainer is wonderful. I have gone to several classes and really enjoyed them as well.
Pleasant environment, great selection of equipment and classes, plus the pool. Just an all around great place.
Pickleball, great group of people always. Staff is very kind as well.
I like the “family” feel or warmth I receive from water classes.. I’ve never been to a gym this nice!
Great teachers. Warm friendly place w lots of choices for classes.
I enjoy the exercise glasses offered, the trainers, & the how close the club is to my home. But I’d be hesitant to recommend the club due to the bathrooms—the locker rooms, bathrooms, & showers all need to be remodeled. I choose to clean up at home because of this fact.
The trainers are knowledgable and friendly. I like the overall atmosphere - it's comfortable and the members are friendly.
