I love the instructors and classes. Lately, I do not feel as safe even walking from my car in the garage to the studio. Homeless men have been frequenting the stairwells. Security has been sern but not consistently.

Love the consistency, predictability of class structure, and that I can just turn my brain off and let the instructor guide me through a very effective workout. Great for mind and body! My husband lets me know I walk a little taller whenever I get back from barre :)

There is so much to like! The instructors are attentive, motivating and easy to understand. The staff is always encouraging and helpful. Their customer service is prompt and easy to communicate with either through a phone call or text. Best of all, I am stronger, have better balance and am getting toned.

Love the classes. Just wish there was a little bit more variety in times. Like 730am, and then classes after 1pm

great community of people.

Teachers, staff, diversity groups, community.

How welcoming the studio and instructors are with all the members. The variety of classes offered. The community that this studio creates is empowering!

Instructors and members are great. It is a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best.

Love the instructors.

I like the pure define. It is not offered as much as I'd like. I love the remote so thank you for offering that.

Great teachers, staff. The studio is welcoming (logistics, retail). The students help to make class fun. Barre itself is a great exercise.

I like the variety of classes - Classic is my favorite but I like Define for more weight work. I also like that the classes change the routine and it's not the same thing all the time other than the warmups.

It's a great low impact workout with amazing results!

The instructors, the workout, everything about Barre.

The various types of workouts and knowledgeable instructors. Love that the workouts change about once month.

Pure barre is exactly what we all need. Motivating, safe, energizing, uplifting, science based exercise routines with a variety of options that all complement each other and all of the people are fabulous with the very best instructors.

Amira and Jess are both top tier instructors. Pure Barre and their instruction and coaching has helped me to achieve a level of fitness I didn't think I could have after kids! I feel stronger, the knee and hip pain I had before starting Barre are gone, and my stability and core strength are better than they were in my 20s. I absolutely love Pure Barre and would recommend it to anyone.

The teachers are wonderful and the community of members is the best!

The energy around the room of amazing people and instructors

Great instructors who make sure our form is correct and wonderful social atmosphere.

The challenge and various classes offered.

Pure Barre is the most challenging workout in the best way. I'm able to be more consistent with my physical activity because of Pure Barre. It's super fun. After every class, I feel happy that I showed up. Not to mention, all of the instructors are amazing and everyone who attends are warm and friendly.

I love the instructors (Amira, Hannah, Gabby, Katie, etc). They're all awesome!!! Kimberly at the front desk is always so helpful, too. The variety of classes allows me to get a comprehensive workout.

Love the community, Amira's fast pace work outs, variety, music, help with form!

Amira is an amazing instructor.

love barre!

Workouts, instructors, studio- I always feel great after I go. There's also community, and accountability

I really like the instructors - they are friendly, help you adjust positioning and encourage you to do well. Pure Barre works well along with other exercises to tone muscles. You see results!

I like the teachers and the variety of class formats. However, there is a lack of variety on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Also, teachers should remind the clients about their spacing at the beginning of each class. So many clients seem to lack spatial awareness. Each client should line up with a set of silver brackets. It would be helpful if there was a mirror on the back barre too! It can be really difficult to see the choreography when facing a white wall.

Pure Barre is everything to me. The teachers are so motivating, helpful, correcting our form and assisting us to do our best. I have come to really love the community that I am a part of: I believe it starts with the owner, manager and teachers. This is such a warm, welcoming, positive, motivating community. I believe it is helping me age the best that I can, keeping my bones and muscles strong, and my soul filled with positive energy. Thank you, Maple Lawn Pure Barre

the quality of instructor

I love Pure Barre Maple Lawn and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great workout!

Hi! I wanted to share a few suggestions that I think could really improve the overall class experience and flow in the studio: 1. Instructor direction & class positioning It would be very helpful if instructors consistently directed all members at the start of every class to find a set of brackets and stand in between them. Giving this instruction clearly and consistently would help eliminate confusion, especially for newer members. It may also help to add a simple stick-figure image or marker on the molding between each set of brackets so it's visually clear where each person should stand. This would make it especially helpful for those who may not be familiar with what the brackets are. Additionally, when exercises move to the center of the room facing the front mirror, spacing often becomes an issue. Members at the front barre tend to step too far back, which ends up blocking those positioned behind them at the back barre. To eliminate this from happening, adding four lines of tape onto the carpet to guide spacing in the center of the room—with a staggered "one forward, one back" setup—could greatly improve organization and ensure everyone has enough room to move safely and see properly. 2. Class capacity Please consider capping classes at 18 participants and avoiding placement on the side barre. When people are positioned on the side barre, it can block out the people on the ends of the front and back barres, making it difficult to perform movements and exercises properly. Ensuring everyone has clear space on just the front or back barre would make classes more enjoyable and functional for all participants. 3. Cubbies area flow The cubby area tends to get congested when people stop to chat or fully dress/undress in front of there. It may help to encourage members to grab or store their items and then step away so others can access the space. A friendly but clear sign near the cubbies could reinforce this and keep traffic flowing smoothly. 4. Equipment organization I've noticed that weights are often returned to the wrong spots (for example, 2 lb and 3 lb weights ending up in the 5 lb bucket). The number stickers Katie made for the weight rack are a great idea and should be made for the buckets inside and outside the exercising room too. Each class instructors should also remind members to match the numbers carefully when putting equipment away. Keeping weights organized makes it much easier and faster for everyone to find what they need. 5. Socks policy reminder It might be helpful to reinforce that toes should remain fully inside socks during class. This would help maintain cleanliness and protect the carpet, as there have been issues with odor and even broken toenails on the rug. 6. Focus class scheduling I'd love to see Focus classes start no earlier than 8:00am on Saturdays. Since it's the weekend, a slightly later start would be appreciated by those who prefer to sleep in. It would also be great to offer a Focus class in an evening time slot to better accommodate members who work during the day and can't attend the 9:30am or noon sessions. Thank you for considering these suggestions! I really enjoy the going to the gym and appreciate all the effort and hard work that goes into making it a great place to work out.

I love Pure Barre because I get a full body workout in a fun social setting with knowledgeable instructors who are intent on making sure I have appropriate technique

Great full body workout with various choices, from weights to low impact, stretching all while using your own body. Excellent option for core strengthening. The instructors are top notch, Amira, Katie, Hannah, just to name a few. Amira keeps me coming back! Finally, this place creates a sense of community. We push each other and support each other in class and outside of class.

The teachers and workout are great. It is such a welcoming environment

The instructors are amazing and the community is so supportive! I appreciate how they take our feedback into account when making the schedule for classes

Pure Barre has made me stronger, improved my muscle tone, and made me a faster runner. The instructors keep me challenged while ensuring I maintain good form to avoid injury. I enjoy the classes and the challenges.

Great instructor

I still do class online because of injuries but I am fine otherwise.

Wonderful instructors, great workout.

Love the community and the variety of workouts!!!!

It is a full body workout and you see results. The instructors are well educated and help you perform your best. The clients that attend classes are friendly and have come to know some of them very well. I feel better about my body and myself by going to classes regularly.

Variety of class offerings and times. Completely challenging workout that is able to be modified to individual needs. Very encouraging and knowledgeable instructors.

I really enjoy classes with Coach Amira and Coach Jess. They are very professional, supportive, and always give their best in teaching.
