The thing I like most is the variety of classes and routines. I also enjoy the community of people!
The studio has gone downhill in the last almost 2 years. Many instructors have left because of the situation. It's heartbreaking. Had a meeting with the owners several months ago and nothing has changed. Quality of classes have gone very downhill. Except for one instructor. There is a new instructor who is amazing. Clients are leaving the studio. Never got prizes for our fall fit challenge in 2025. It is heartbreaking. Nobody wants to work for the owners. Been going to another studio and the quality of instructors and the support I have gotten has been amazing. They really put their clients first!
We need to be more strong teachers and a consistent schedule.
The instructors are great. The workouts burn in the best way and I feel more confident every time I finish a class!
I love how Pure Barre makes me feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. The classes are challenging but enjoyable, and the instructors are always encouraging and supportive. I especially love the variety of classes and how I can continue improving without putting too much stress on my body. I recently completed my 100th class, and I'm excited to keep going
âââââ Pure Barre has been one of the most amazing places for me to exercise, tone my body, and feel stronger and more confident! I started in November 2024, and I have had such a wonderful experience ever since. Every instructor I've had has been professional, encouraging, and extremely focused during class. They really pay attention to what you need and help you get the most out of every workout. The reception staff is also wonderfulâthey are always friendly, understanding, and quick to respond whenever I have a question. I also travel a few times a year for about three weeks at a time, and whenever I need to freeze my membership for a month, they have always been very understanding and helpful without charging me extra. I truly appreciate that kind of customer service. Over the last two years, with consistent exercise and following a healthy diet, I've lost almost 20 pounds and really toned my body. I absolutely love the way I feel and the progress I see when I look in the mirror! A huge thank you to the entire Pure Barre teamâinstructors and front desk staffâfor being such an important part of my journey. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it! â¤ï¸
I like the instructors everyone is so friendly upbeat and outgoing. The classes are always different and challenging.
The variety of workouts The amazing instructors The fabulous community
I am not happy with the lot of changes with instructors and all I see is only classic class format most of the time.. not happy. I can't even cancel my membership so I feel stuck
The staff is amazing! The workouts are excellent and beneficial.
Convenient location, great instructors. Would like some variety and more weekend classes
The instructors are amazing, and the supportive atmosphere makes every class so motivating! It's a challenging full-body workout that is both fun and effective for building strength and toning. I always leave class feeling energized and strong!
Since this isn't posted publicly I'll just be honest. I came from PB Vinings and the Dunwoody location seems a little lacking. It just doesn't have the same energy. The instructors aren't as engaged, the lighting is way too bright the entire class, and the studio (other than the front waiting area seems a little neglected? This is the second request I've had for feedback so figured I would just be brutally honest! I'll continue to attend class as I love the work out and I live in Dunwoody now, but it would be nice if this studio maybe got a refresh :)
Still no new permanent teachers who we can build relationships with and that offer a consistent variety of classes. Kim does a fantastic job-so grateful she has stuck around. Nicole, too, but she can only teach on a limited basis. Love the subs Marchette and Jourdan, but we are not their home studio so we typically get them only once a week (sometimes Jourdan is there twice). I noticed this week that some of the weights are beginning to peel (black pieces of rubber falling on me when I'm using them). Would love to see some regular teachers who can teach a variety of classes a few times a week so we can build back our community there.
How personable the staff is! How small the classes are! All the different times you can workout!
Feedback has been given previously
I've been a longtime Pure Barre member, and it has honestly been disappointing to watch what has happened at our studio over the past year. There has been a significant amount of turnover among instructors, and while I appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere, many of the newer instructors seem very inexperienced. Classes often feel choppy and less polished than they once were. Several of the new instructors are also already talking about leaving for college or starting high school in the fall, which makes the studio feel like it has become a revolving door rather than the stable community it used to be. One of the things I loved most about Pure Barre was the consistency, professionalism, and sense of community. Unfortunately, that atmosphere feels like it has diminished. I'm planning to give it a few more months in the hope that things improve, but at this point I'm not feeling very optimistic. Another example that has hurt morale was the Fall 2025 Challenge. Many members completed the challenge after being told there would be a reward. When no reward was received, several members asked about it in January and were told that socks had been ordered but there had been a delay and they would still be distributed. It is now July 2026, and nothing has been provided. While the socks themselves aren't the issue, following through on commitments is. Small promises like that matter because they build trust with loyal members. I truly want this studio to succeed, which is why I'm sharing this feedback. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, because many longtime members have noticed these changes and miss the culture that made this studio special.
I love Pure barre and I love the classes and the teachers. I have friends at Pure barre. But I would like to see more consistency in the schedule and long-term teachers before I would recommend it to a friend. Maybe because it is Summer and hoping fall will bring more consistency. I really do love Pure barre!
I like the class format and I like low intensity workout. I feel stronger each day.
I love this studio and have attended for almost 10 years. Right now it's lacking consistent scheduling, class variety, and strong teachers. Lots of turnover of staff and clients who have probably been there longer than I have which is never a good sign. Loosing this community is devastating. I'd love to recommend to others but at this time I'd hold off till things get better.
They need to stop removing classic classes. On that same note, I think there needs to be a more consistent schedule, and if the schedule could be updated more in advance, that would also be great. But I love the instructors and the workout and the environment! I would just love to see more consistency and more classic classes coming back.
Varied class formats Great instructors
I appreciate the music, the relationship/friendships built with the instructors, and the frequency of the classes in the early morning and late evening.
The caliber of teachers, variety of class formats, and consistent schedule are issues that should really be addressed. Morale across the studio is low, and many great teachers and classmates have departed for other studios.
Poor management at the studio. All the good teachers have left
Not enough quality, full-time teachers, especially now that Sarah is gone. Nikki, Christine, and Rachel are holding it down for the entire team and Christine isn't even full time at PBD + Rachel only does weekends. Not enough class time options. Those teachers and the members are the ones that are responsible for it feeling like any sense of community as ownership is never present and doesn't seem like they really care about the studio. The front desk girls are very sweet and do what they can to help and I'm happy Lexi is now helping out to contribute to admin support as well because again, owners don't seem to be super responsive. The IG feels like a constant ad and is more focused on promoting buying things/retail rather than our teachers, members, and community.
Great toning exercises for women of all ages.
The studio in Ham Mill is looking dingy and not clean, things are in disrepair. The best teacher, Tiffany, is leaving after June. Good teachers keep leaving. This is a neglected business.
It's a great work out targeting all the right areas! You feel strong after class!
It's not the same place/community I joined 5 years ago. All of the regular teachers have left, along with many of the members. I'm staying here for now because of my friends there, but if things don't improve significantly, i will look to go to another Pure Barre.
Manage memberships properly
Most important aspect of the workout is a high quality instructor. There are a few amazing instructors at pbd. The rest however are ok at best. Some are new and could improve with time (maybe?). There is no general manager so there are a lot of issues with the studio and very little communication or follow-up. They lag behind other studios in the area when it comes to fun, excitement, focus classes, challenges, and prizes.
0 Instructors with experience and are being pulled from another studio. The owner of Pure Barre Cumming owns 4 studios. Little effort to enhance the business and retain clients.
I like the predictable order of exercise groupings in the classic classes. I also like the new class formats, though my preference is with Classic.
I am a big fan if pure barre and have really been in love with it in the past! But I do feel that the class schedule has been quite inconsistent and the instructors have change lately. I love that pure barre offers the different variations of classes such as Align and Define. But for the past several months those classes have hardly been on the schedule. Maybe once or twice a week at the most. This is disappointing as Define is one of my favorite classes! It would be nice to have some consistency with the schedule so that members can plan their week and get all the styles of classes in for a well rounded fitness routine. I also have been sad to see some of my favorite instructors hardy on the schedule as well. Those changes combined have had me considering a change in membership.
I love Pure Barre workouts but I feel like our studio is going through a transition that has made the quality of the experience more uneven than usual - there are good days and bad! We have some awesome instructors and some mediocre ones. The sounds system was struggling (now it's fixed!), some of the equipment is getting worn - just to name a few issues. I feel like until the studio is back to a more consistent level, I would be more hesitant to recommend it to friends at the moment, especially beginners! I know management is working on these issues but this is why I said 7 rather than 10
Teachers and class options.
I love Miesha, Angelica and Angela they are so personable and fun and down to earth. I love the 530am class and the attendants and how lulu and now alo clothing is there lol. I love classic because I can modify if needed and still get a great workout. I just wish dance instructors and cheer coaches would make this mandatory as this would prevent a lot of injjuries.
I love the friendliness of the instructors. I love how they make you feel like you are the only person in the class and how they want everyone to get the most out of class time. I love the cleanliness of the studio. I absolutely adore the seasonal decorations - just an added layer of fun. It feels like a true sisterhood every time I walk in the door.
Jordan and Courtney need better training. Schedules are put out last minute. Studio isn't welcoming. No management besides ownership who doesn't seem interested in community or members.
Poor management. Lots of teachers have left as well as regular attendees.Poor class selection especially for the afternoon. Makes me sad as I've been going there for several years.
The class schedule is all over the place. There's not enough variety especially for the classes held on Saturday and Sunday. They normally seem to be the same and usually are classic classes. I'm glad I saw someone come in and clean the studio a couple of weeks ago. It does seem cleaner. But the workout room could definitely use an update. I have completed a couple of challenges in the past year and I have yet to receive an award as promised.
Instructors are great and very helpful. The environment is nice, and everyone is friendly.
The variety of exercises The community of welcoming clients The value for what you receive
I have been at PBC for 11 years now and I still love it a great workout for all ages, great community and a great way to spend my mornings.
Great place to workout. Friendly staff and trainers.
more teachers who teach Define. angela is great but she mumbles and slurs her words and talks so fast no one can understand her.
I like the classic class, it's hard but I can adapt and do what I can and feel getting stronger!
Everything. The instructors are wonderful, and bring great energy and knowledge about all aspects of the exercise. They are also very welcoming. All the formats are fantastic. It's a fun place to be.
Charging for extra focus classes at key times and not having weekend options early
