Lisa at the Front Desk is amazing. Always greets you and ready to help. Very welcoming.

Probably better if you were open on Saturday and if you weren't closed during the week from 1:00 to 4:00. I wish for pickleball all day. More crafts. Some weight lifting classes. We aren't all frail

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The staff is wonderful and the building is always clean. The eGym is top notch and there are other activities to enjoy: pickleball, basketball, video games & board games.

Very welcoming community

The staff is outstanding, the gym is always clean and I am planning on returning to utilize the e gym once more. I enjoy yoga , but there is only one floor yoga class at Walzem, so I go to D R Semms for yoga.

It was just not a gym that I was expecting from YMCA.

I like everything about the Walzem Y and it’s never very crowded. I would go more often if the pool was open.

Clean and efficient. Non-threatening, supportive atmosphere for someone new at going to the gym.

Not enough exercise equipment and half of the facility is for some kind of fit program that you have to do orientation. I just didn’t like that there was not enough machines, exercise, equipment, etc..

The hours of availability are not for working people and you are closed on the weekends.
How did leadership come up with the hours of operation? I have lived in this community for over 25 years and raised my children always engaging with the y. Do you know that there is not another community center in this area where our youth can interact and engage in sports, youth building skills etc?

This is truly a "family" of people who gather to support each other and care for and about each other. The staff is always helpful polite and sincerely concerned for the members. I look forward to every visit and I go as often as I can.

I have never felt as welcome in a gym and I actually like going there — a first! Equipment clean and in working condition and good array of classes. Really like the community center feel.

Love the open-play pickleball and friendly staff.

I like the EGYM system because it is faster and easier than any other strength training system I have ever used. I like the Walzem YMCA because the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable, more so than other gyms I have used.

I really like how friendly and welcoming the staff is at the Y.

Group exercise options and scheduled activities are very limited. I would like to see more offerings.

I like the fact that the egym is a system of measures. The tread mill and the bike also have measures.

This Y has beautiful new free weights, is not crowded and has a wonderful yoga teacher named Rose on Saturdays😃

The staff signed my child in for me instead of allowing me to sign for my child. It just felt unsafe and kind of wrong to have some random staff employee sign my child into child watch.

It is a smaller, more intimate facility than some of the other Ys. I like that it is quiet in the morning and all the front desk personnel are friendly and helpful.

The fact that you have them and that they are Christian based.

Variety

Need more zumbas on a daily basis

I love the new Wednesday night kickboxing class at 7pm

The size of the facility is a little on the smaller size. Also, there is no pool. It would be nice to have one at this location.

Child care & various kids camps

Adding different machines, there are several missing I am used to use. Re-add evening yoga classes. I joined because I was looking for a gym which also offered evening yoga classes and had s pool. And was close to home. No long drive after work. The Walzem Y fit all these criteria, sadly evening yoga stopped after just 3 months , the pool a few months after. Early close on Saturdays make it a Monday to Friday gym only.

I would love for this location to have either a longer time frame for child care or more group workout options in the evenings.

You closed the pool permanently. Open on Sunday would also be helpful.

I love the child care, i just wish the weight room was alittle bit bigger it feels really cramped.

Everything needed is there except for a Pool.

There are so many programs to choose from that it is easy to find something that you like or something new that you want to try.

My local YMCA has all the services and amenities I want for an affordable price. Great staff, clean facility, too.

I like that they know my name and know my kids names when we walk in.
