I like everything about the Walzem Y and it’s never very crowded. I would go more often if the pool was open.

Clean and efficient. Non-threatening, supportive atmosphere for someone new at going to the gym.

Not enough exercise equipment and half of the facility is for some kind of fit program that you have to do orientation. I just didn’t like that there was not enough machines, exercise, equipment, etc..

The hours of availability are not for working people and you are closed on the weekends.
How did leadership come up with the hours of operation? I have lived in this community for over 25 years and raised my children always engaging with the y. Do you know that there is not another community center in this area where our youth can interact and engage in sports, youth building skills etc?

Very friendly staff and always feel welcomed. I wish they were open on the weekends.

This is truly a "family" of people who gather to support each other and care for and about each other. The staff is always helpful polite and sincerely concerned for the members. I look forward to every visit and I go as often as I can.

I have never felt as welcome in a gym and I actually like going there — a first! Equipment clean and in working condition and good array of classes. Really like the community center feel.

Love the open-play pickleball and friendly staff.

I like the EGYM system because it is faster and easier than any other strength training system I have ever used. I like the Walzem YMCA because the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable, more so than other gyms I have used.

I really like how friendly and welcoming the staff is at the Y.

Group exercise options and scheduled activities are very limited. I would like to see more offerings.

I like the fact that the egym is a system of measures. The tread mill and the bike also have measures.

This Y has beautiful new free weights, is not crowded and has a wonderful yoga teacher named Rose on Saturdays😃

The staff signed my child in for me instead of allowing me to sign for my child. It just felt unsafe and kind of wrong to have some random staff employee sign my child into child watch.

It is a smaller, more intimate facility than some of the other Ys. I like that it is quiet in the morning and all the front desk personnel are friendly and helpful.

The fact that you have them and that they are Christian based.
