Offer a wider selection of group exercise and water exercise classes.
The locker rooms have some deficiencies, but I know better things are on the way.

Great staff, great equipment, and great hours it is available.

The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help you reach your goals. There are many opportunities for scheduled classes for every fitness level. Left my old gym and never looked back! I use every area of this Y and couldn’t be happier!

Love the water aerobics, especially those taught by Christine. Have not tried land classes yet.

To be honest, it’s hard to go work out when the televisions in the cardio room are playing Fox News. If this is to be a safe community space for all members, we should not be airing the hateful, racist, genocidal, and transphobic rhetoric that is a staple of Fox News.

Swimming.. pool was nice and warm and not crowded

Have more adult lap swim lanes open more often, and keep it for ADULTS only, nobody under 18.

It's very good facility for a family where parents can workout and younger kids will be under watch. Price wise it's reasonable. The staff is very friendly and pool facilities good too.

I'm leaving because I spend the winter in Fl. I enjoyed the Y and the classes.

The only reason I continue going to YMCA is the proximity to my school. Ideally, I would go to Planet Fitness East Hanover-1/4th the cost, 20x the space, much better facilities, etc

No lap lane organization and/or access. Space is always taken up with other activities

We never were called to learn how to use the weights (Janice Pepper and Rich Levin)

The demand on the swimming pool during summer camps makes it impossible for working members to take a break midday and swim laps. Plus reliance on the YMCA360 app has resulted in insufficient communication with members on maintenance related closures or outages. Lastly, except for one or two staff members, the rest are terse and “just doing their jobs”😒very business-like

size of the pool. eventhough the number of students per group is kind of large, but they are properly being taught. Overall, my son is learning to swim in a real pool size.

Rasheed Ali is the best group instructor. When I first came to the ymca I could not walk without a walker . Rasheed has helped me so much. He has given me much confidence. He is very compassionate and helpful. I recommend him 1000%.

I like the classes at the Y especially the swim classses. The lifeguards have been much more conscious of the space provided for the water classes.

I have been very happy with the workouts I've been able to have at Livingston YMCA. Everyone tries to be helpful and I look forward along with everyone else to the grand opening of the brand new 'Y' across the street, perhaps in December.

The swimming pool is always clean. People are friendly. Staff is ok, helps in every way they can.

Every time I take my son swimming for half an hour at the YMCA, shower him off, and bring him home, he gets a rash and itches all night, making it impossible for him to sleep. But if he plays at the town pool for 2 hours, he's fine. I seriously suspect that there's a problem with the water quality at the YMCA or with the added chemicals.

Excellent instructors, variety of activities

The Y has great exercise classes, which I have attended all my life, and I have made special friendships along the way. I attribute my great health, good balance and strength at the age of 80 to working out at the Y and making it a life time habit.

The welcome desk reps are just so friendly and kind. Truly welcoming. The water staff is outstanding!

Limited hours for adult lap swim lanes. No time from 4:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.am.

I have been a member for 45 years; however I froze my membership during July and August because of your bringing in toddlers for water lessons at the same times my water classes were held. The noise level was atrocious! Most of us are there not only for exercise but also for relaxation, hardly possible in this situation. I have decided if the Y allows this to happen again, I will probably give up my membership permanently. Because of this uncertainty, I can hardly recommend your facility.
