i am not able to always get into the class times i want and put on a waiting list or hedge my bets and go on 2 waiting lists in hopes i get into 1 class. i have to keep track of the time so i don't get charged, etc.. would love a pure barre location by the mall area/west side of appleton
Love the workout, it's continually changing so it challenges you each class. I also enjoy the different class formats. Define more weights, reform slides & tubes so you use your own body weight. Align which is more stretching but still a nice workout & of course classic which started it all. Such a great full body workout. Of course the staff is great. Greeting you by name everytime to come in as well as during class. They're also always available to answer any questions and make sure your form is correct to avoid injuries. Have been a member since PureBarrecsme to the area & still love it!!
Great work out! Never boring since specific exercises change with different formats and instructors. Modifiable so that if I do have a sore or injured body part I can usually make adjustments and still participate.
Pure Barre is such a great mix of workout and stretching. All of the staff are great to work with. The equipment is always very clean and taken care of. The best part is the feeling you get after finishing a class. Check out Pure Barre!!
I love the community of amazing women, the variety of classes, the dedication of the instructors, and the fact that every single class has been a challenge in the best way possible. I started over 9 years ago and I plan on being a lifetime member - it's one of my happy places!
Friendly, supportive and the best lifelong workout.
I have benefited in so many ways after nearly 6 years at Pure Barre. I am so much stronger in my core, legs and upper body. I enjoy the different class formats and appreciate the ability to modify to accommodate my own body. The teachers are very encouraging and give hands on feedback or corrections during class. The PB community is fun and supportive- we all challenge each other to reach our goals and potential.
Nice community and great workout.
Its not fun anymore. Most of the teachers dont even seem to want to be there. I saterted in December of 2024, and I went at least 4 days a week. Now im lucky to go 4 days a month. I have a pure lifestyle membership. I used to be excited to walk into that door. Everyone seemed to want to be there, the environment used to be welcoming and exciting. Now it just seems like most everyone is going through the motions. Yeah sure my life got busy, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be fun or exciting to be there. Jen actively seems to be bored while she is teaching. And Hailey teaches in a way that feels like you should just be watching her and not actually doing the workouts. The new policies have made it even worse to even think about signing up. Im about 99% sure that when it comes time to renue my membership I will just drop out. Its not fun anymore and just feels like a chore that is costing me $150 a month.
Every instructor especially Lena and Jenny S . are great Pure Barre instructors ,and willing to help us do our best!!
Everything. The instructors and making friends with those in the Pure Barre community!
I love the classes so much. I don't love the cost and not being able to get into some of the classes.
I love that I am challenged to work my entire body in a way I normally would not on my own.
I like the challenging classes and all of the instructors are so encouraging. It honestly means a lot that they all make an effort to remember everyone's name. I'd love to see more Define on the schedule! It's always waitlisted =)
The teachers are all great! It is always a warm and welcoming environment and is nonjudgmental. Your Pure Barre friends become your Pure Barre family.ð
Pure Barr is the best! It makes you accountable to go to class. The instructors are trained to make sure the attendees do things correctly, plus are all so personable. I always feel welcome:)
Positive energy around the room!
I love Pure Barre. It is the only place that I have been able to stay committed to for 2 years.
Safe and supportive environment.
I love pure barre! The community, the workout, the music, the teachers, the encouragement. I feel awesome every time I leave class!
I attend the 6:00 AM weekday classes. Over the past few months, it has become increasingly difficult to get into classes (especially Define, Empower, and Reform). I don't think reducing the number of classes you can book fixes this at all since it is still the same problem, just on a shorter timeline. Having an unlimited membership may actually be a negative since I won't be able to get into class everyday because more limited memberships can book out the D/E/R classes faster than those who enjoy taking Classic and Align. I have to book out those three classes ASAP, and just wait until week of to see if I can get into Classic and Align while hoping that I won't miss out on a future D/E/R classes. When I am able to get into the class, the classes have become so overcrowded that they are no longer enjoyable. During Empower last week, I had to constantly adjust/move so that I wouldn't bump into the person next to me. I don't want to be more focused on space availability than my workout. I love these classes, but unfortunately I think there either needs to be less people or a bigger studio. I will give it another month or so, but I need to switch gym memberships if it doesn't improve. I spend a lot on my unlimited membership and it's frustrating to have to worry this much about scheduling and "negotiating space with neighbors." It feels like recruiting new members takes priority over satisfying current members, which is a little unfortunate since I do enjoy the classes themselves.
The variety of classes is amazing. I never get bored. I am stronger than I ever have been and the instructors are all great - encouraging and they don't judge.
I love that I can come here and completely escape for an hour and focus on my workout. I feel stronger and more confident after every class. It has helped me be a better mom & more positive human.
The recent class schedule has become erratic and there aren't as many options as there used to be. Teachers aren't offered guidance and are often just trained and left to figure it out on their own.
Booking is problematic most times. I know this is being addressed but when you are on a class pack and there are only a few days you can make a class, I have to scramble or sacrifice other things to make a class.
