For active older adults, the YMCA Healthy Living Center features:

I like the warm pool to exercise in. Shower room is not too cold. Staff are nice and friendly.

I originally joined when the Centre was 50+. I really didn’t want to be working out in front of a bunch of younger “workout enthusiasts.” Then I found out it turned to 40+. This past week I found out it was 30+. I really hope The Centre can stay a place that Seniors feel comfortable being members. I really hate it becoming an “adult only” satellite to the Y.

I love the ambiance, the people, the classes.
I always say, it’s a place that you go in the morning and there are things to do all day. Between classes, social, pool. You can be busy all day. It’s perfect!
