The staff did an amazing with my toddler son. He had lots of fun and amazing experiences while there his full summer.

Every day my daughter said that her day was amazing, that's good enough for me!!

It was a pleasure seeing my children experiencing a summer camp filled with memories! The connection they made and adjusting to building friendships, meeting new people showed the profound meaning of the experience. The counselors made their impact as well! Mrs Samatha and crew, you guys were awesome!!

The activities were well organized and parents were notified of changes in reasonable time. The kids were engaged in activities across multiple areas. Staff was pleasant and easy to talk to. My kids enjoyed every single moment of it.

Communication was not the greatest throughout the summer. My children were giving me updates regarding things that staff should have communicated, such as swimming being canceled or bringing blankets for meditation. Lunch menu was never provided to parents. I learned from my kids that they were eating the same thing from lunch pretty much everyday.

The summer camp team are friendly

We highly recommend the East Orange YMCA Summer Camp! The staff is caring, professional, and attentive to the children’s needs. The activities are engaging, educational, and fun, creating a safe and welcoming environment for kids to learn and make friends. Communication with parents has been excellent, and we’ve had a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive summer for our child!

Pay more attention to detail and follow through with communication and things stated in orientation

The lessons could be more thorough. The instructor should be getting into the pool more, probably with a doll so as to show the parents exactly what they want them to do.

My daughter really enjoyed it and she came home tired everyday so that is fantastic

My daughter loves camp at the East Orange Y. She loves the bi-weekly trips and making new friends. She has made a lot of progress socially.

It’s only week 2 at camp but I must say. My daughter has come home saying nothing but great things! She is having an awesome time. The staff is nice and welcoming as well

My 10 year old son has made some great friendships and enjoys all of the activities and weekly trips. It’s been a great experience for him the past two summers

We love the East Orange YMCA a great experience with the summer camp everybody’s friendly. I feel good about dropping my child off and I know he is nonstop moving around keeping busy, which is exactly what I want for him!

My daughter didn't even want to home she enjoyed herself so much.

My son express to me every day I pick him up from camp how much of a good time he has each and everyday. I like that they take them on trips and provides breakfast and lunch for the campers. Its his first year and we’ll definitely be back next summer.

Organization is not the best. I also wish parents would get more recaps/photos of the activities they are doing. Was looking for more structured activities, like learning how to play sports, etc. When I ask my kids what they did they tell me they played with blocks or colored.

My son learnt a lot from the classes he attended. He enjoyed swimming classes with the Instructor who was engaging and fun.

The staff should not include the time they take to get ready in the 30 minutes allowed swim time.
