Really appreciate that the barber actually listened to the parameters of what I wanted cut

Sides were good, but the top was too long

Friendly service with a good cut. Not too expensive either.

I would recommend this shop only I. Hold recommend a specify person to cut their hair. You cannot just sign up for the first available stylist because, and this has happened to multiple times, you’ll get someone who clearly doesn’t know how to cut hair very well.

Floyd's continues to raise its prices which would cause me to not recommend them. When I started coming for a haircut 11 years ago the price was $24 and is now $42.

My regular barber has been a bit sporadic of late; I received a call from the manager explaining the situation; I scheduled with Luis, who cut my hair before and the cut was on point, and because of the inconvenience with my regular barber I was told the cut would be at no charge; excellent service, both the barber and front desk, as well as management.

Your prices haver gotten way too high.

Didn’t like the last haircut my son got. My son was too embarrassed to go back in and have the guy fix it.

My barber Hieu was fantastic. He was warm, welcoming and supremely talented. I have difficult hair to cut and Hieu used his expertise to help figure out what looks best and to execute a phenomenal haircut. Hieu’s customer service and skill has left significant and lasting impression not only on him as a barber, but on Floyd’s as a whole.

Staff is very helpful and I like the vibe.

Both Wen (for mine) and Fay (for my daughter’s short fade cut) are top notch. They’re friendly, professional, and give great cuts every time.

I was going to Columbia Floyd’s 99 but it was just too far and every stylist I had would end up with weeks long recovery from surgery of taking month long vacations. So I found Gaithersburg Floyd’s. So glad I made the switch! Fay did a great job on my Pixie cut, took the time to listen to my concerns and over all just rocked my first appointment!

I like my barber. she takes care of me

I booked an appointment with a stylist for a layered bob. I have curly hair and specifically asked if the stylist was comfortable with cutting my hair. She said of course . I went from shoulder length to ear length and in some parts on my heard, curls no longer than 2-3 inches. I returned the next day to get it fixed. This stylist said she could clearly see a disconnect in the back of my head and did her best to blend the cut. Still not satisfied since now I have short hair in back and long curls over short hair on the sides and front.

It is easy to schedule, there are things to do around the shop, however, most times they are running behind by 30 minutes or more

We walked in for a bang trim for my four year old on a whim. The price was great at only $10 but they came out uneven. I didn’t complain at the time because I was afraid an attempt at correction would result in extra short fringe. She was sitting stick straight and very cooperative with direction from the stylist. Oh well!

Went in for a $21 trim, just the edges, was charged $30 by Franco and told ‘ he took care of it,’ when I questioned the amount. I make a good living and tip very well, it’s not the few dollars he overcharged, it’s the principle of it that offended me.

Always does my hair exactly like I asked. And knows how to shape hair to compliment face.

Tony C is one of the best hairstylists I’ve come across. He’s also super patient, understanding and collaborative as he definitely listens to your requests and is ready with his technical skills, but also provide guidance and suggestions when needed.

I had a bad hair cut made from a previous hair salon. When I came to Floyd’s, they not only fixed my hair but they also educated and informed me the cut should have been done. They were nice, informative, and helpful!

Reese J is one of the most talented barbers in the industry! He listens to you and delivers exactly what you asked for—-but it does not stop there! He gives you recommendations on hair care and how you a maintain your cut. Not to mention he’s a nice guy who loves to chat!! Book time with him, you will love your hair again!!!

Luis was very helpful with our boy who has had long hair his whole life. His hair is thin, straight and flat. Luis showed my boy some cuts that would work and he picked one out. Showed us how to apply the product necessary and upkeep, etc. we love the cut.

A place like this should have a loyalty/rewards program
