Feedback on Service Received - First Visit 6/19/26

On my first visit yesterday, I was attended to by a barber who identified himself as being from Puerto Rico and who had prominent tattoos. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience.

I was charged $38 for a basic low cut with no shaving. I later learned that this amount was excessive for the service provided. It appeared that the barber and the receptionist coordinated on the overcharge.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend your barbershop to others at this time. I wanted to bring this to your attention so you can address it.

Will never be coming back here. They weren’t warm or welcoming. The lady that did my beard trim didn’t even know how to use a blade apparently. She trimmed my beard and made it uneven. And to top it off, she smelled like cigarettes.

I have been going to Rissa for some time! I have both grandsons and son-in-law now going to her, too!

Kelly will cut my hair till I move out of state or die. 😃

i have been having a mental breakdown since my hair was cut shorter than i expected

it's been five days and i still feel awful. every time i touch my hair i cannot believe i told my stylist "a little above the shoulder" and she cut it this short. it is so wrong. terrible terrible communication.

From the moment I enter the shop to the moment I leave, I’m treated with the utmost professionalism and care. Rissa is fantastic. She puts you at ease with her cool attitude and attention to detail. She’ll cut your hair exactly as you ask, but also provide expert recommendation to make you look just right.

Veronica was so amazing with my senior citizen dad. My dad has been struggling to get around and does not hear well. This is the second time I’ve taken my dad to have his haircut by Veronica. She is just so awesome and friendly and treated my dad like he was the best person in the world. It means a lot to me, especially seeing that my dad hasn’t been doing as well anymore. Veronica is so genuine. Veronica does a great job cutting hair and also grooming facial hair. Thank you so much Veronica!

Needed some extra pampering, so I tried the new invigorating scalp massage…truly a terrific, tingly, tea-tree treat.
Highly recommend, especially for those with tea-tree experience, and/or those who crave that DEEP clean feeling.
You don’t find this kind of self care at just any barber shop…bring your head to Floyd’s.

For what I pay, I don’t feel like I’m getting the level of service that I’ve come to expect. I’ve had two separate barbers at this place - both long term. But after a while, they fell off in service. They always get too comfortable to a point where they just assume they know exactly what you want and eventually drop the ball on haircut. Rarely offered, if ever, a shoulder massage (my barber in Tustin location ALWAYS offered). I don’t get a clean wipe down with warm cloth (Tustin location ALWAYS does). Not to mention, I’ve had appointments that felt extremely rushed and left feeling unsatisfied. I get that this is a relaxed environment but I sense that regular refresh in customer service training is necessary here. If I’m there on time, don’t penalize me by rushing me because you went long on previous appointments. Also, just because it’s a long time customer, don’t assume you automatically know what they want.
