Professionalism of the staff has declined

Asked for and received a high and tight (high fade). No missed hairs anywhere. Its been 30+ years since anybody showed that level of attention.

Had a buzz cut for almost 2 years, wanted to start growing my hair out. Barber was very impatient when I was trying to explain what I want (less than 1 sentence long), and cut me off before I could finish: “i just asked for the numbers (of the guard to use)”. I wanted a 1-3 on the sides and back, and leave the top untouched. Since he cut me off, he didn’t hear the last part and did a 3 on the top before I could stop him, erasing over 2 months of trying to let the top grow out. He was obviously in a rush, not gentle, and just seemed in a bad mood. The second question he asked, brusquely, was “I just need the answer, not an explanation, but how high do you want the 1 to go up the side”. I’ve been cutting my own hair for 2 years, got a promotion and wanted a nice cut, and was extremely disappointed. Before my buzz cut I was a Floyd’s customer for 5 years, and was planning on going back monthly, and I won’t be back because of him. It is not the customers fault he obviously hates his job/life.
