Good haircuts, but way too expensive

A few things to improve on are:

a) provide the ability for customers to pay for the services in the app and the capability to tip after receiving the services.
b) create a rewards program where customer can accumulate points towards discounts on services and products including redeeming points for free services.
c) develop some sort of budget-friendly membership to attract more customers while keeping the individual prices
d) allow customers to have 30 days to redeem their birthday reward including making it free within a reasonable amount.
e) add services such as eyebrow waxing by a professional

The service is great, I really liked it

After getting my hair cut on Friday 9/25, both my wife and father were very impressed and even asked for Floyd’s location.

I would score higher but the value proposition is rapidly fading. The price has gone up 2-3 times since I started getting a haircut there, ironically because the cost at my other place kept going up. The massage and neck shave, plus my rapport with the stylist keep me coming back, but at some point the rising price will be a deal breaker.

I was disappointed with how the pricing was handled. My haircut was reclassified as “mid-length” at a higher price, after we started, which has never happened to me before. However, the stylist specifically told the front desk not to move any of her other appointments and didn’t spend any additional time on my hair. From my perspective, I received the same service at a higher cost. A clear explanation of what justified the price difference would have gone a long way.

Most stylists I have used were great (Alyson is my go to and Sam is great if I need a cut when Alyson is not available). The stylists are authentic and really seem to enjoy their time in the shop. They do well with my cut (58 year old M) as well as my kids (15 and 12 M).

Comfy place, moved here recently and it was great.

I’ve had mostly positive experiences here but the last one was not great. All 3 of my kids haircuts were uneven or fell short of what they asked for. I would share the shop with others but I would mention scheduling with a headliner instead of taking anyone available.

Great chairs that allow you to stay in the seat and get your hair washed.

Staff is always welcoming, the place has a very inviting vibe and I’ve never had to wait too long - my stylist is always right on time.

I was told 15 min before my appointment that my stylist was running a little late. They were actually running 45 minutes late. Don’t gaslight your customers with fake speak. Be honest. Be accountable. Move on.

I would have liked more active input into my haircut, such as suggestions or questions. I wasn’t sure exactly how to say what I wanted- and I usually want opinions/suggestions from the barber on what they think will look good (since they’re a professional and I’m not). I might recommend them for color though. And I’m definitely not saying I wouldn’t come back, I’d just have more of a plan if I was gonna be more on my own like that.
