I told my stylist exactly how I wanted my hair cut, and he did the exact opposite. He didn’t listen to my detailed instructions.

I was really happy with my haircut. I made a bunch of comments and complaints about the current state of my hair and what I hated and the stylist Lola just seemed to understand the assignment and without much fuss or hesitation, gave me the perfect haircut 🤷. I walked out feeling like I was way happier than I thought I'd be. I will keep going back to her, which is more then I can say for the numerous stylists I've had over the last few years.

Barber ****ed my **** up. Didn’t do what I asked and gave me 2 different length sideburns now my partner is making fun of me. Told him to cut my bangs up above my brow cause #1 reason I needed a haircut was hair being in my eyes - he did not and it’s going to grow back into my eyes in another 2 weeks. He would not cut my hair short??? Just snipped a little here and there? I had to keep asking him to actually cut it off not just trim random ****. What did he think I went to the barbers for if not to get my hair cut??? Also I told him to leave it long where I have a cowlick and he didn’t so its short and sticks up again like I’m 12 but it’s way too long everywhere else. Shaving my head at home next time.

They saw me on a walk-in basis, were very friendly, informative, and accommodating. Great hair-cut.

Sam A is my guy. He always friendly and does a nice job of making me look my best. This time he went above and beyond. I was running about 15 minutes late and I was his last customer, but he stayed late to take care of me.

Yaya is the best!

The hairstylist paced around me while chopping her scissors in the air like “what’s the next move.” My haircut isn’t what I asked for and I think that she didn’t have a clear outcome in mind. She didn’t orient me in
towards the mirror until the end, and made no effort to show me the back of my head. When she did orient me in front of a mirror she, unprompted, told me “it’ll grow back.” When she asked if I liked it and I said yes she said “really?” I like this Floyd’s location and I’ve had my haircut here three times now. My other two experiences were perfect and were the reason I came back a third time.

Yaya is fantastic! She's a sweetheart and very talented. I always look forward to my appointment and always receive compliments on my cut.

Cool store and great service

Barber seemed unmotivated and didn’t listen to my request. Cut my hair much shorter than I expected. Basically butchered my hair.

I’ve been going to this Floyd’s Barbershop for well over 10 years and have worked with multiple hairstylists during that time. The service is generally efficient, and while pricing has nearly doubled since I first started coming here, the proximity to my house is what keeps me coming back. My biggest critique is the turnover among hairstylists. It would be great if Floyd’s did more to retain the good stylists so they don’t leave for another shop or open their own place. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable option, but stronger stylist retention would make a big difference.

Alex is always friendly and personable and always leaves me looking better than I do walking in. It’s nice I found a new barber as I left mine in Texas

I had made 2 appts for 2 people at the same time and they completely messed BOTH of them up so one couldn’t get the full service I scheduled, and the other had to be completely canceled (and then they cancelled the next day’s rescheduled appt too)

It’s very convenient to set up a haircut. It’s in a good location. The place is nice and everyone is friendly and professional.
