Shirt smelled bad pants. Elastic was worn out pants would stay. First. Attempted nothing fit after we tried everything on there is nothing that im satisfied with.

I recently used them for a wedding group. One of my groomsmen received pants that were entirely the wrong size, despite being measured on three occasions. Luckily, they had the correct size in store day of. One of my ringbearers did not receive his shoes at all because the store had ordered the wrong size and couldn’t get correct ones in time. They also called me multiple times to confirm the look after I had spoken to someone to confirm it the week prior. They had lost that information somehow and were complaining that I was hard to reach when I had already done what was asked from me.

The suite jacket was dirty it had white reside near the pocket and it had a strong odor of body odor. After we picked it up it sat in the garment bag until the day of the event. When my son put of the suite it was dirty and it stunk. I will not be ordering from you again.

Great Selection and atmosphere

Diamond helped us and was AWESOME! It was my son’s first formal and first time visiting Friar Tux. She made us feel so welcome and was full of helpful suggestions. We got to see her when we returned the tuxedo and she went above and beyond, asking how his formal and tux went and even wanted to see pictures. She is the quintessential example of customer service! 10/10!

Very overpriced and expensive for a rental. At first when I heard the price I figured that it was just a high quality tux but boy was I wrong. The tux I received was damaged and ripped on the pants and the shoes had major scratches on them. The tux was too tight and the shoes were too big despite being measured and fitted for them. Overall I would say that if I had to get a tux again I would go somewhere else and the only good thing about this place is that it is close to home.

The staff were very, very helpful and walked me through the process step by step. It was a little more than I expected to pay but it was a fair price. Friar Tux made everything so easy by explaining each and every step. I will use them again at my next event.

As a person that has never rented a suit before, and as a "guest" of the person paying, there was a lack of explanation to the whole process. It would have been nice to have someone explain the process to me, instead of every step being a surprise. Otherwise, friendly staff and nice suit.

Well what's done is already done but maybe care about the customer more. I know I'm a big guy but they took my measurements months before I picked up my suit and the undershirt didn't fit and jacket and there was nothing that couldn't be done but they said they can alter it just in case . So I had to buy a white undershirt and alter my shirt and jacket that fit perfectly. But the first time I got fitted the people were helpful but when I got my suit the second time I didn't feel comfortable and I felt rushed

The sizes were all wrong , suits after waiting for it to get fitted didn't come out good. Also a lot of important items for your event were misplaced or last minute not available

Everything was great up until I went in to return my suit rental and felt discriminated against. When I arrived, I was asked to hang my suit bag on a hanger and wait for someone to help me. An associate then came out to complete my return and began scanning through each item in my suit that I was returning. While I was standing there waiting, another man came in to return his suit, and another associate took the suit from him quickly and asked if he would like a printed receipt or email. The man said email and he was free to leave without his items being checked individually. I felt very discriminated because as a Latino, why am I having to wait to be sure that I'm returning every single item and a White man comes in and is free to leave without any of his items being checked? It was an ugly feeling to experience that and this is not how customer's should be made to feel. Either all customers should have their items checked in front of them while returning or none at all. Friar's left a very bad taste in my mouth after this because I am sure I spent just as much money as that man but was treated differently. Do better.

Multiple orders were wrong which is unacceptable for a wedding. Only receiving the items days before a wedding is not okay considering how many problems we had.

I was measured, I expressed concern regarding getting a longer coat and a shirt that fit my neck. I was assured that they would be ordered, and they were not. I had to wear an unlaundered shirt of my own and a regular coat when I needed a long… Very poor attention to detail and no respect for the customers time.

They have great tux's with a wide selection, perfect place for anything to do with tux's.

I had mixed feelings about my visit. The customer service was on point, and was very friendly. The price I paid didn't seem right for what I got. Not only was the quality lacking, the prices at the front of the store for the tux's are very misleading. The price shown for the tux I had rented was displayed for $148. Not knowing it was only for the suit jacket, and pants, and that adding on the tie, vest, shirt, and shoes was going to be so much more. I also wasn't informed it would be an increased change of price until checkout. The sign showed $148 and I was prepared to pay around $200, but the total price ended up being $309. That was supposedly for your “cheaper option". I will be shopping for a tux/ suit elsewhere in the future. For the price I paid I could've purchased an entire suit, but not from your store.

All of the suits for our wedding were great. We had nothing but exceptional help from Diamond at the Bakersfield location. She is amazing and deserves a raise for sure!
