Service was dismal. The employees are obviously not trained in fitting above the barest essentials. They are inefficient, unfocused and lack the ability to communicate effectively. They ordered the wrong shoes, included items we didn’t ask for in one case and said items were included that were not in another.
The HB store is understaffed as well.
The only efficient thing about the experience was the return.
Next time we will go elsewhere or just buy suits.

There were several mixups with our order. When we first made an appointment, we met with Aiden and he came up with a great design that we loved. We did not book initially, but we came back because of the great service we received. but when it came time to receive the orders, Steven‘s shirt was white instead of ivory like we had discussed. The
Store was great and we were able to bring it back and exchange it. At that time I confirmed the items that all of the groomsmen would be receiving. Then the day before the wedding, I found out that all of the groomsmen had received the wrong color shoes. I texted the customer service number and they were able to order a replacement, but I think there should be a change to the order and confirmation process to ensure accurate orders. I do appreciate that the mistakes were able to be fixed but it is an extra consideration that the order accuracy is an issue.

I had my son try on the suit to make sure everything fit and nothing was missing before bring it home. The pants were not the correct size so they switched them out but put a shirt in that was so small it reached his mid arms. They also forgot his tie and to return. When they returned to resolve everything they forgot the cuff links.
That Gabe guy really messed up the measurements on lots of our suits. Once he had left, leaving everything with the other employees of the Edinger location, we received our suits and had to get them resized. Some of us had to be resized an additional time because the changes weren't made or measured correctly. Really poor experience having to go back a few times because the initial measurements were off by so much. The other employees there were very nice at least and wanted to make the changes day of to help try to make it right but it's hard when I had to go back a few times to get properly fitted attire.

Service was unorganized and didn’t communicate well. Suits were thought to be on order originally were not ordered and forgotten. We were asked to resize a group of 5 people at last minutes notice until they found the missing information. We had issues of sizing that were off and needed to come back several times. What we thought would have been an easy transaction became difficult and all faith was lost by the time we it over. The positive note is that we did have suits the day before our event.

Went in for my final fitting and nothing fit. I ended up purchasing a Tux from another store and never picked up the rental, although I did pay for it.
Well despite the managers claim to the contrary the tux jacket I left the store with was not the same one I tried on. the jacket ended up going halfway between wrist and elbow and she measured and said it was what I tried on. I too, could position the tape measure at a specific point in the arm pit are to end of sleeve to get the right number. Despite my plea that I would never have left the store after trying it on she argued with me and said it was the same jacket. I then thought "Are you telling me your assistant would let me walk out with a jacket about 4 inches to short in the sleeves? When she refused to return my money for a jacket I could not wear she said she would send me a credit for a free rental and then never followed up on that. There were a couple of employees in the back bagging things and I know they got them mixed up as it was NOT the jacket I tried on. My goal was not to look like some country bumpkin and a large formal event. I would never do business with such a shoddy company again, and believe me, I am telling everyone I know to use Mens Warehouse right down the street.

The cost for a rental is extremely high. Other than that customer service was great. The quality of the suit was great and everything else was great. It’s just really the price is really high.

How much time do you have? Every single member of the wedding party had major issues. For me specifically, upon arrival my shirt & jacket were about a full size too small. They switched it out, but did not take out the pocket square & I didn’t know there was one. The day of the wedding the top button on my jacket broke, & so did a cufflink. The best man had shoes two size too small, & I had to stuff his feet into them. Am actively telling people to never use friar tux after all 5 of us had major issues

Staff was friendly & efficient. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. The tux was tailored perfectly for my frame. The return of the tux was easy and prompt.
I shirt sleeve was too short or my jacket sleeve too long. I was told suspenders would be with the suit they were not and my pants were mega high waters way to short. I even stated I wear my pants at my navel for a suit fit.
The entire process was great. From getting our group order set up, to the measurements, explanation of timeline, and final delivery of the suit was all clearly explained and done timely. We were helped every step of the way and the process was so easy. Big shout out to Gabe at the huntington beach location. He was the absolute best along the entire way. Gabe called me multiple times to give me updates on who still needed to get measured, who hadn't picked up, etc. He also gave us really great advice when we were trying to pick our color combos out. Gabe's professionalism and help during this process has made it so i will always be going back/recommending Friar to all of my friends

I rented a tuxedo but the jacket sleeves needed to be altered twice. The right sleeve was still not altered correctly so I ended up not wearing the jacket. Aside from that, the rest of the items were fine.

Feedback on Tux Rental Experience I'm writing to share my experience with our recent tux rental for my son's wedding, which was unfortunately disappointing in several ways. Incorrect Shoes Ordered: Despite multiple confirmations of the specific shoes we wanted, the wrong ones were ordered. This caused unnecessary stress before the event. Uncomfortable Fit: The tuxedos themselves were very uncomfortable, which affected the overall experience on such an important day. Tux Not Ready on Time: The tux was not ready when we needed to leave for the venue. I had to stay behind and wait for the pickup, which delayed our departure. Lack of Follow-Up: To date, there has been no resolution or outreach from corporate or anyone at the store regarding these issues. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to address these concerns. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
